CrazyAsian 18 Posted February 17, 2018 Very simple change to the rules that could lead to some fun RP situations
Smidge Griffkin 154 Posted February 17, 2018 (edited) +1 Oh I do like dirty money. Though I agree, perhaps only regular local police for Blufor should be able to be bribed, and not the Special forces or Delta squad. And as for the mighty TLA well they are corrupt as shit so it doesn't matter for them, they will probably shake you down regardless Edited February 17, 2018 by Smidge Griffkin
JumpyWizard 91 Posted February 17, 2018 +1 would be fun
Giovanni 196 Posted February 17, 2018 There's nothing in the rules that suggest OPFOR can't receive bribes, it's only BLUFOR that cannot as things stand right now (rule 3.1.12).
CrazyAsian 18 Posted February 18, 2018 could we make it so cops can accept them or as @Smidge Griffkin said make it so only the lower level ones can
Captain 48 Posted February 18, 2018 +1 Let's see it happen!
JumpyWizard 91 Posted February 18, 2018 It should, however, first be implemented if the rank system goes through, simply because there would be no one to enforce "proper" police work and punish the cops who accept bribes. So if you as of today could accept bribe without there being no such thing as martial law, I believe it would escalate completely
Mez 186 Posted February 20, 2018 +1 While opfor can already take bribes it'd be hella gangster to see blufor take some
ComradeCorbyn{Socialist} 57 Posted February 20, 2018 +1 IRL,Police Forces can be and are often Corrupt. (Especially if it's NATO)
Abshire 13 Posted February 20, 2018 +1 But to a certain extent. I don't think the "Higher" ups like the Chief of Police should be able to. But if it's a basic patrol officer , I think it would be fine.
