Vehicle keys are stored in variables that get reset when you leave the game. It's not so much a bug that you don't keep them, it's moreso that they were never designed to be persistent. It's possible to have them save in stats, but then you run into the issue where you start accumulating tons of keys for vehicles that are not in the server anymore. There are certainly ways to implement it properly but we just never looked into it.

Would it? 2 people called Slingshot a cunt and nothing happened to them. Gen called all staff out for having "20 IQ" and nothing happened to him. We're more chill than you might think. Let's not derail this thread any further and keep comments relevant to the topic at hand.

I can see wanting to remove temporary bans ahead of time, but those who were permanently banned had a good reason for it. Either they were hacking or constantly breaking the rules to the point that there was no return for them. I see no benefit in removing the permanent bans. Sure, our population might spike up, but the server would be a cesspool of trolling and hacking which wouldn't make it any more fun than it is now. Smidge Griffkin has suggested that we review past bans and decide on a case by case basis who we will forgive. I think this is a good compromise.

Remember that this post is about providing constructive criticism for the staff team so let's try to keep it on topic as such. If you have a specific issue that requires attention, that's what staff complaints are for.

Pretty sure a lot of people tend to use "OP vehicles and other stuff". Staff have no more access to vehicles and gear than a regular player does. In my experience, the ratio of players using heavily armed or armored vehicles is about the same whether they're staff or not.

I take a bit of offense to this. I've been extremely busy this month since taking over as Director again because of the school year wrapping up, but that doesn't mean I won't be working on the mission once I have the free time to do so. I've got a lot of things on my to-do list in regards to server development. Also, adding the R-73 to the Ka-52 is a simple thing to do. It's not hard at all. It's just a matter of whether we decide to do it or not. Yes - there are a lot of things on the server that require work. We'll get there, but it will take time.

Ranks, whitelisting, etc - we've been over it many times. I agree with it to a certain extent. There needs to be more organization among the factions to create a better experience for other players. However at the same time, it needs to be loose. Ranks should not determine the type of gear people get access to, rather instead they should get access to what they are qualified for using. Ranks would instead have an actual role in either supervising and commanding the faction or assisting in managing it - thus also moving that burden off of staff. People seem to associate ranks with gear or paychecks (a la JG Gaming or RISE) however in my opinion, that's not how it should be set up.

Has the Steam integration for registering and logging on been working for everyone here on the site? I've been getting conflicting reports as to whether it works or not, so I'd like to see what the general consensus is.
