First of all, I'm gonna start by saying this server needs serious attention, just like 50% of most recent forum posts say and about half the staff team from disgruntled members who have some pent-up rage or some shit that posted on here, to the 3 or 4 I've talked to that are dissatisfied and currently staff (obviously not gonna name names). second, what is going on an "update" hasn't been implemented for who knows how long at this point, I found the server in March, and about 50% of the time I've been gaming has been on the server since then. Basically why I'm bringing this up is that there is NOTHING to do as civilian and as of recent nothing to do as indep either, hence why the blufor usually almost doubles the two put together. The indeps get fucked by the opfor, not gonna get into that i have too much recently and everyone is whining about it, and the civs have nothing to do but get Rdm'ed, make money, kill people, and punch cops. It sucks. In the 2 months I've been playing, I am officially bored and I'm surprised I lasted this long. I just got done playing for my last time for awhile probably, because this retard cop carlos, tries rdm'ing me because HE slammed into my car, STG another cop randomly shoots at me for doing nothing, on airfield in a CROWS, and this other cop, (something with a k I can't remember) starts stunning me without saying a word to me, 3 TIMES. "why didnt you go to an admin" well first of all I hate going to the help room, its a video game its silly, however, I definetly was going to because when retards do shit like that, it basically ruins the game. So i go to the help room and the almighty comrade potato is AFK and no other staff is on. The only active staff is Junior mods and they don't even have any permissions to do hardly anything, so when they aren't on then guess what? The "RP" server just turned into a wasteland one. And most of those issues stated above would be fixed with the whitelisting of cop. And when I say whitelist I mean make it a cop test and an application and if you pass both you can play just like you normally would. Not any gay ranking system bullshit for power-hungry kids who wanna bark orders and be cops when they grow up. ( in game ranks are fine and cool, ts ones are not) Next, where is the communication? Nobody knows what the hell is going on with updates or the future of the server, not even the staff. There are so many things that need to be fixed and i feel like unless it's a crazed ex-staff member or someone shit talking the server, it gets no attention it needs on the forums. Things that would make the server better, but not limited to: 1. Buff independents and also lower their prices. 2. Make the south more interesting, make the bank robbable, put a casino down there or some shit. 3. Fix the administration. 4. Crackdown on the retardation 5. Add a mobile phone 6. Upgrade the interaction so you can drag people. 7. Add an opfor FOB 8. Add an indep FOB, or make terror a spawn. 9. Nerf the blufor, IMO they should be cops until martial law, not the 12-year-old opfor. 10. This is a problem that needs to be brought up to staff @Giovanni @Comrade Potato In a support case there should only be 1-2 staff members rather than 8, this happened to me last week so much where I had to yell at them to get out! Its ridiculous! Now as of the ban appeal i think it should be lifted due to the fact he recognizes what he did wrong and wants to do good and make up for it. He's right, we all make mistakes, now i'm gonna ask u this. @JumpyWizard lets say that u did the same thing and got banned, u would ban appeal, u would have said practically the same excuses, we all do dumb stuff when under pressure. Hell I could even c gio mess up under pressure bc we're all human. This should be lifted and he needs to apologize over vc to u guys and u all need to apologize to him for the ridiculous amount of staff in one channel.

Hello everyone, I wasnt sure if i should post this or wait for the changs to come out. But i decided why not. The suggestions could use some brain storming so feel free to add stuff. Companies: i was thinking maybe introduce companies that people can join and create and stay till stat wipe (since its untill stat wipe a price between 50-100 mil to create sounds fair) give companies their own bank account where the owner can set the paychecks for employes and a shared storage. (More can be added of course to do) Import/export: i was thinking about how to make more people come south, well introduce import/export lets say rubbies are a north resource. Then the resource seller north will buy it for example 3k each while the south will offer 9k each and vice versa for the south. (Remember these are example prices) more people will use the border to transport stuff. Even airfields might be used more to fly over trucks. These ideas need improvement so please share your ideas. Edit: since i have no dev experience with arma i dont know how much work it is to implement stuff like this.

Sure but it takes awhile to actually get 4.5 mil from Blufor, you get (as chief anyways) 110k paycheck every 5 minutes and when you actually want to bust a civ for drugs so you can get a hella big bounty they decide to have a shootout instead

+1 having locations save has been abused by indies and it can be difficult for players after a restart. Once restart in announced you need to hang around a vehicle shop until restart unless you want to walk for 30 mins or just kill yourself and lose your stuff. If we make it so players load in at their base no matter where they logged off I believe it would make the server more fun

+1 AN-2 would make me want to play OpFor.

During peace time operations and for training session for the MAFR it would be great to use a AN2 with dshkm's or other machine guns. Since the l39 is expensive and all the other planes are war time only (Exception of the pcela which is glorious). Plez add daddy

You say we need better communication yet you go into a blufor channel and mute up most of the time. Lead by example, by getting a few people communicating in one channel and see, if it gets bad tell them to calm down etc. Im just voicing my opinion, yes side should be kept clear and for emergency only. I personally don't communicate as much, due to the rest of blufor not pitching in.

I’m going to make my response short and sweet and respond to each point you have stated above. 1. As soon as I get the economy changes from Comrade, they will be implemented. Once they are implemented a stat reset will happen. 2. I fully agree with making the south more interesting. I will attempt my best to make this happen..well the casino is out of the question lol 3. On going changes are happening within the administration team. I will not discuss the changes here but will in an over all post at a later date. Oh, Junior Mods are able to ban for a max of 3 days, if they want it longer they contact either a director or myself and we will extend it. 4. We have been trying our hardest on cracking down, unfortunately we cannot have staff on 24/7 but that’s why we have the staff reports section. 5. A mobile phone is a good idea, we can look into this. 6. We can attempt to implement this as well as being able to place people in vehicles and transport them to the jail. 7. Back when I owned the server, we had an opfor FOB in Feruz Abad. I can talk to Gio about reimplementing that. 8. We can possibly make Terror a spawn point but it would have to cost them to spawn there. 9. If we add an Opfor FOB and make terror a spawn for indeps, I will not nerf Blufor. Instead, if we don’t implement the whitelist I want to bring back a harder cop test that staff has to review before being allowed to play blufor. Again, these are my views that I will attempt to have implemented. I will try my best to get this done but I can only do so much. Maybe I’ll start working on A3 instead. Not sure yet. Yes there was.

You didn't have to paste the rules, because I never claimed what they do is against the rules. Just the fact that you'll get rained with hydras if you're in a gang hideout, isn't very realistic for an RP server, is it?

People just either run, or shoot at us. if you just pull over or hold you triggerfinger for 2 seconds (As civ) the chances of you getting blown up or shot is very low since we don't mind looking the other way. For a price ofcourse. but 80% of the civs either run or shoot us and yea that is an excellent reaction towards death. The full on conflict between INDEP and OPFOR isn't something that has always been going on, it came to life cause INDEP is always shit talking OPFOR for being trash but once we actually gear up against you, you start whining about hinds, AI en camping the ways to CPB and CPA. Today Wolfslayer put away his hind for a BRDM2 to make it fair for you guys, you still got destroyed and then you start screaming he is a pussy for defending checkpoint stalin. The only reason you are angry is cause OPFOR is not letting you get free money killing BLUFOR. You guys are gearing towards traveling to the north, instead of dealing with OPFOR, yesterday (or day before that) Tuna took down 3 hinds (correct me if im wrong) down to the ground. he couldn't completely destroy them but if INDEPS work together they should have no problem taking down the hinds. cause driving past CPS and capzone 1 by 1 isnt really ideal. Keep in mind this is my experience and my point of view, i cant speak for the times im not ingame.

I have been playing arma2 for a long time, for rp servers it all started back in chernarus life, now this was far from perfect but even back then we could have simple communication within the cops. I have jumped from server to server since then and have learned a lot of things. For blufor to be effective people need to take things seriously and start communicating and working together. Back when I played on RISE things where not that bad because people actually played like they where supposed to. Its honestly getting very frustrating when I get on TS3 and get into the game to see people not giving two craps on what's going on around them. Simply if your in the patrol channel then do patrols, if your in CPR channel you need to be manning CPR, if your doing border operations be in the channel. Its not hard guys, also while in TS3 there is this very nice option to set hotkeys, there is nothing more annoying than hearing someone making an arrest or talking to a civ or whatever in game while still talking in TS3. Make use of the hotkeys and set one that will mute your mic and sound, simply I have mine as the up arrow and it works pretty good. Another thing is side chat, side chat should be used to communicate to other blufor about events that are happening or small questions or such, don't use it just to talk to someone in game, again that's what TS is for, if there is an emergency and you need backup then use it, otherwise its very annoying when you cant hear anything else because someone is using side chat just to talk to their buddy. This saves us from having to all be in the same TS3 channel. Its also very annoying when we have people that actually on blufor want to take things seriously and we have the select few people that come on to just screw around, examples are, causing war by killing opfor at a checkpoint for no reason, Beating civs, putting civs in jail for no reason, abusing your power and etc... Yes I know a lot of this can be fixed with whitelisting and having a test. I just wanted to bring up the topic again, and until then maybe people can start working as a team and if people start doing that I think things will start to be more enjoyable. Sorry for the rant but I wanted to vent about this topic

I'm official resining from TLX since there's been fuck all going on with the server, it's dying also with the constant nothingness the community gets, the server is really unbalanced making it no longer fun to play any side other than blufor or opfor, INDEPS get spawn raped every fucking time being unable to leave their area cause OPFOR decide to camp out all the exits with fucking Hinds and other bullshit, YOU NEED supporter to combat them with IGLA rocket launchers it's pointless to play on the server now, we've been promised updates for a while now and we've had NOTHING for the past MONTH, a lot of the players have left because there's fuck all to do. ZERO RP actually happens when Blu4 just camp in fucking strykers and do fuck all. This server is literally a shit show now and it's pointless staying here, i'd rather play fucking dating simulators instead of this server.
