I'm official resining from TLX since there's been fuck all going on with the server, it's dying also with the constant nothingness the community gets, the server is really unbalanced making it no longer fun to play any side other than blufor or opfor, INDEPS get spawn raped every fucking time being unable to leave their area cause OPFOR decide to camp out all the exits with fucking Hinds and other bullshit, YOU NEED supporter to combat them with IGLA rocket launchers it's pointless to play on the server now, we've been promised updates for a while now and we've had NOTHING for the past MONTH, a lot of the players have left because there's fuck all to do. ZERO RP actually happens when Blu4 just camp in fucking strykers and do fuck all. This server is literally a shit show now and it's pointless staying here, i'd rather play fucking dating simulators instead of this server.

comrade potato told me the other day they are fixing the economy so that's a plus, but yeah indeps definitely need a buff, half the reason all indeps go to the north to just slaughter 10 blufor each run is that the opfor have the hinds and vehicles.

Opfor do you hate civilians on your drug fields and then when you kill them they harass you in global? Well, I have a solution!! Distract them with fun and they will be out of your hair! Casino: I mentioned this once and I think it could be a great idea! You could have slot machines, blackjack, and maybe even bingo! Civs from miles around could flock there to test their luck by risking it all! Race Track: Are you tired of racing up and down airfield? Well, guess what! I believe a simple race track could provide a safer airfield and also tons of fun at the same time! This could be located on the east-northern side or somewhere in the south! Boxing Arena: Add a nice simple structure located in a place of your choosing (aka unknown I think he does all the dev stuff) that has a boxing ring where civs can settle arguments, entertain the public, and put that good ol' right hook out of the blufor's face. Kidnapping: Add the ability to drag and release (This has been mentioned before and is currently being implemented as far as I know) but wouldn't a good old hostage situation be fantastic? Maybe give the PMC's another job other than being fake cops and/or just being assassins! Also, you can finally take that peasant you hate out to the desert and teach him a real good lesson. make prison more in-depth: Do you really hate that civ who constantly is running into CPR screaming and 5 minutes just isn't enough? Well, let's make a corrections officer slot or two and make prison defendable, with rp included making those extra long prisons stints some fun! (raise the prison times and add corrections officers to stand guard and give yard time and work time that type of thing.)

I don't agree with having someone boss you around in a video game, and it being enforced and punishable if you don't comply, let's give some examples. I'm playing on RISE and I get word of some typical criminal scum on the airfield. My buddy and I go to the atc where they are and apprehend two of them. We search and interrogate the two but one of them got away on foot. So i see two cadets in a GPK rolling past and I call them over (on rise there were in game ranks that were not enforced only there for an item progression and potential rp. There was if I can remember cadet, officer, sergeant, and so on just the typical police ranks.) anyway, I call the two cadets over and tell them to go and search the airfield for the criminal. They listened to me because in-game i was a sergeant and they were decent rp'ers however, technically they didn't have to. Now put this situation on here and "enforce it" like people are asking is absurd. You are gonna ban some semi-new guy to the server because he didn't wanna listen to some random guy with no IRL authority over him? or because he didn't understand there was a rule on "listening to some guy with a Teamspeak icon". Enforcing ranks is only there for power-hungry tyrants who are controlling and most likely have no lives outside the bedroom. Keep takistan simple, that's why people play it, for the funny relaxed rp. If you want enforced in-game and ts ranks go to A3L on arma 3. Basically, put in game ranks for rp purposes and to unlock new gear maybe, but not so basement dwellers can control how players wanna play. Another example: You wanna hop on for a bit and patrol around as cop and maybe catch some peasants in the act of drug trafficking. But you connect and someone pokes you in ts and tells you they need backup at cpr. You don't wanna play at cpr because its cancer and it's not what you wanna do. You play and after you dc you have a strike next to your name. Now that's retarded. in-game ranks that display in your overhead name like "cop 5 James (sergeant)" that award bigger paychecks, more gear selection, and more renown > official faction shit and enforced listening to "leaders" and in-game and in ts ranks.

what happened

First of all, I'm gonna start by saying this server needs serious attention, just like 50% of most recent forum posts say and about half the staff team from disgruntled members who have some pent-up rage or some shit that posted on here, to the 3 or 4 I've talked to that are dissatisfied and currently staff (obviously not gonna name names). second, what is going on an "update" hasn't been implemented for who knows how long at this point, I found the server in March, and about 50% of the time I've been gaming has been on the server since then. Basically why I'm bringing this up is that there is NOTHING to do as civilian and as of recent nothing to do as indep either, hence why the blufor usually almost doubles the two put together. The indeps get fucked by the opfor, not gonna get into that i have too much recently and everyone is whining about it, and the civs have nothing to do but get Rdm'ed, make money, kill people, and punch cops. It sucks. In the 2 months I've been playing, I am officially bored and I'm surprised I lasted this long. I just got done playing for my last time for awhile probably, because this retard cop carlos, tries rdm'ing me because HE slammed into my car, STG another cop randomly shoots at me for doing nothing, on airfield in a CROWS, and this other cop, (something with a k I can't remember) starts stunning me without saying a word to me, 3 TIMES. "why didnt you go to an admin" well first of all I hate going to the help room, its a video game its silly, however, I definetly was going to because when retards do shit like that, it basically ruins the game. So i go to the help room and the almighty comrade potato is AFK and no other staff is on. The only active staff is Junior mods and they don't even have any permissions to do hardly anything, so when they aren't on then guess what? The "RP" server just turned into a wasteland one. And most of those issues stated above would be fixed with the whitelisting of cop. And when I say whitelist I mean make it a cop test and an application and if you pass both you can play just like you normally would. Not any gay ranking system bullshit for power-hungry kids who wanna bark orders and be cops when they grow up. ( in game ranks are fine and cool, ts ones are not) Next, where is the communication? Nobody knows what the hell is going on with updates or the future of the server, not even the staff. There are so many things that need to be fixed and i feel like unless it's a crazed ex-staff member or someone shit talking the server, it gets no attention it needs on the forums. Things that would make the server better, but not limited to: 1. Buff independents and also lower their prices. 2. Make the south more interesting, make the bank robbable, put a casino down there or some shit. 3. Fix the administration. 4. Crackdown on the retardation 5. Add a mobile phone 6. Upgrade the interaction so you can drag people. 7. Add an opfor FOB 8. Add an indep FOB, or make terror a spawn. 9. Nerf the blufor, IMO they should be cops until martial law, not the 12-year-old opfor. 10. well I am glad you agree, and yeah you're right it's not that op I guess I just prefer blufor to be more like cops yk, like they all have SUV's and regular police cars and rifles and keep their stunners out and if a BRDM rolls into rasman they coordinate and tell each other there is an armed vehicle and then they go and get out strykers and CROWS to combat it, not how it is now when half the cop force has a Gpk, Crows, stryker, or armed attack helis, when there are only 5 civs unarmed in rasman. It just increases unnecessary lethal force even more and makes it feel to me as the blufor and opfor are the same just different colors which I'm not a fan of. And also, I don't see you on the server much anymore, is there a reason or just a coincidence?

I hardly play indep, just a few times I've tried for a gameplay change it is just pointless and a waste of time. and indeps are supposed to rp, they are supposed to help civies and on RISE if you told an indep you believe in Allah they couldn't even harm you it was a rule. And I've had rp a thousand times on all the life servers, rise this one, jg, its just more of "rp" like if you want actual rp you go to a3l or island life Basically, the hinds are just a bit too much and there are like 5 players, all who play frequently who just never leave a hind and it's annoying and if people keep using the "this is taki life there is hardly any rp who cares" argument then nobody will stay around long. And correct me if I'm wrong but didn't I conduct an interview with you and the opfor once? See thats rp! This is the last "and", I also agree partially with what you are saying, at this point just remove indep honestly ig declaring terror would be enough or maybe add a FOB in the north? So the indeps are spread out more? I mean I doubt it'll happen tho because its been months since we were supposed to have an update.
