Your kidding me right? A terrorist faction should be friendly to a Russian military and a private military faction? Makes no sense once so ever. The whole point they are there is to cause peace and protect Takistani citizens. Independents cause havoc and eradicate those who are not Muslim, such as Opfor...since they are Russian.. -1 on the suggestion.

On the old TLX there used to be FOBs you could spawn at that had less weapons and shit available but were in a way nicer spot. I think this could work for indeps. Something up in the north, where all they've got are FALs, AKMs, enfields, RPGs, grenades, maybe the cz 550, and motorcycles and UAZs. That way they can have their convenient area but if they want to pack heavy shit they have to risk opfor down south.

the opfor supporter area is hilarious, the bmp2 there is 5.4mil but at normal spawn its 3.6

That's what I'm getting at. I don't and a lot of other PMCs don't KOS Indeps and we try to be friendly to them but we get fucked by you guys. And Opfor do need to stop KOSing Indeps but I often make deals with the Indeps as Opfor. So. Yes. PMC and Opfor do need to not KOS indeps but it needs to be the same against PMCs (and to some extent Opfor)

Independents are not allowed to KOS civilians, only Blufor, Opfor and PMC. Those 3 factions are able to KOS independents as well. If you don't want Opfor/PMC be KOS then Independent shouldn't be KOS to them. It doesn't make much sense does it?

I think an opfor FOB/secondary spawn should be added because the blufor spawn right at the main town and have easy access to all the hot spots, while the opfor spawn all the way at the airfield it'd be nice if they had a spawn at feruz abad or somewhere near it. This would also keep the checkpoints open and maybe help keep insurgents out more, and also make the opfor easier to find for the insurgents.

Good afternoon, Today's update is going to be brief since I have to get going within a few minutes. We have taken the next steps into incorporating the faction ranks and whitelisting after some discussion during the staff meeting and between the administration. @canadianbacon22 and @Kane have been selected as the Majors for BLUFOR and OPFOR respectively. @Comrade Potato and I will be overseeing the factions as Colonels, however we will be leaving most of the decision making to them. Applications for both factions will be opening up here on the website soon. We will also have an accelerated process available for qualified individuals to make it to Officer and Senior NCO ranks to assist with faction management. Teamspeak has already been set up for the most part, however some permissions will be changed. Forum categories and user groups will be created here as well. We are diligently working on the website/mission changes and regulatory policies & procedures so we can make whitelisting official within the following week. We'll stay in touch here! Those 3 were appointed to their ranks after we reviewed their Major applications and felt that they exceeded our expectations, although obviously Canadian Bacon had already filled the position of Major. @Giovanni and @Comrade Potato are above myself and @Kane, administratively. They are there to make sure we do a good job and don't do anything stupid. I suppose they could care to explain why they picked us. However, we also took into consideration the leadership potential of other applicants and gave them the opportunity to prove their worth by electing them as Officer Candidates.

-1 I cant recommend you for staff. I've dealt with you several times where you've lied in support rooms. You've lied to get out of compensating someone, lied about what happened in situations, lied about rules. As previously mentioned, you like to play by your own rules which usually contradicts the server's rules. I have watched you imitate staff on the forums and in support rooms, You call yourself a "developer" with no recognition, you claim staff have given you permissions, and yet when questioned, nobody has any memory of it. I don't think you would make a good staff member for the time being, though if you play better, play fair and play by our rules, I see no reason why you shouldnt be able to apply again later on.

This is going to be quite a controversial topic and I fully expect that. Feel free to leave opinions,I'd love to hear them. If this server really wants to be an RP one,which I'm assuming it wants to be,Indeps KOSing everyone needs to change. Blufor I can understand as they are a controlling (facist) force but Opfor/PMC shouldn't be KOS since PMC can work with Indeps and most PMCs usually do not KOS Indeps. Opfor obviously are corrupt and I've seen it multiple times where they work with/strike deals with Indeps. Kosing everybody is a pretty RP breaking rule and it personally annoys me when I'm trying to play as a PMC and indeps are just constantly camping in Rasman and killing every single PMC that goes past just trying to do a job to get money. Considering indies don’t have much in the way of making funds or funds in general, besides robbing gas stations and other player, I would like to suggest some sort of vendor for indies to have access to make a bit of funds, ie able to sell unprocessed marijuana to the hashish emporium or even their own private resource vendor in indie land. Because as I have noticed from general complaints as us Opfor bombard them time after time, they don’t really have enough funds to get anything that’s a proper threat, unless they are able to transfer their cash from civ to indie ect. Might be a good idea also to increase the amount of indies that are on as well, up the limit to 10 or 13, it would help them considering the amount of Opfor & Blufor they would have to work against. I think it would also help them against the high powered hardware we Opfor pull out. I would like to hear your thoughts and list anything i may have missed.

No point really, unless their is unique items from the factory ie the AK Goshawk & the sorts, but in general the only point for factories for indies, Opfor and blufor is to manufacture items at a discounted price, overal it’s not worth it.

Honestly, i dont know if i should +1 or -1 Ive had a mixed experince with him pulling our war vics for terrorists, Aswell as making his own rules when it comes to blufor.....And not to mention the transfer between factions from opfor to independent. However he does manage the blufor a bit, But he brings the hammer down to much and tried to pull rank to much, he always thinks hes right and everyone else is wrong, He disrespects his own team and expects them to still follow him

I have been a Teamspeak Helper on RISE for a couple months then was promoted to Moderator. I stayed in the Moderator position for a little over a year and loved every minute of it. It just feels nice to be able to help out in situations where someone is having trouble. Making their day better makes my day better. I was saddened to hear that RISE shut down, which was my favorite Takistan Life server to play on. After seeing this server, it has brought back my joy for Takistan Life and I have been on it almost every day since I have found it. In addition, I am a very calm person on the server when it comes to almost any situation. Remaining calm is one of the most important things a staff member needs to do when a situation arises. I also have over 2000 hours clocked in on just Takistan Life alone, which would seem like an asset as I could answer most questions gameplay/roleplay related. What qualifications or experience do you have to offer? I would like to propose that independents be allowed to have a spawn point at the terrorist hide out that is located to the north east of rasman. Having a spawn at that location would make the location usable since it is not hardly used right now and would provide another departure point for independents to perform their duty to Allah. Now with that being said i would also suggest that independents if allowed to spawn up in that location should have access to nothing more than a basic load out such as a lee enfield and a motorcycle, Since it would be unfair to the blue-for to allow them to spawn over there with the ability to have access to all the gear. the pros i can mention to such a spawn would be the fact that op-for could not camp the spawn with mI24's,jets and other heavily armed vehicles. it would allow the blue-fore to have more engagements with the independents, and it would reduce the distance to travel to rasman so the trip would not be 9 kilometers, and last it would allow independents to use the right side of the map more effectively. the cons i can see is that it could drag blue-fore away from their checkpoints and sch if they wanted to hunt independents and it might lead to more chaos at rasman. i would suggest adding in a sort of guideline and or rules to govern the behavior for those who spawn there and for how blue-fore handles the spawn
