We were friends on Steam, months ago and I removed you months ago. We have never been friends on Discord, we only ever shared TLX as a mutual server.... lmao and you think I blocked you? I showed no courtesy either? Like what? When you flat out ignore me multiple times like I never tried to talk to you about things or get answers? When you had multiple other staff members bitching about how things were, about you, complaining to resign, in front of the rest of the team, who was the one that convinced them not to because you weren't even there (this was at the last two meetings you didn't attend btw). This is my formal resignation from my position as an Administrator and player on TLX. After playing on TLX off and on since the Dnice era and now as a staff member here I have tried my hardest to help grow, professionalize, and strengthen not only the last Arma 2 Takistan life server but one of the last communities on this game. As of today, I feel I am wasting my time due to inadequate leadership and lack of communication throughout the entire staff team. For weeks we had this server maxed out in population, we even had to upgrade the TS, we created a brand new website, hired more mature staff while firing the abusive, and we connected with our players. It's disgusting to see now, that both staff and players use the excuse of "this game is dying" to explain the reason why we lost our player base. I only see a few with the same passion to keep TLX running and they aren't the ones in the position to do it. I hope that I helped this community as much as it has helped me and I hope one day it will return to how it was. Thank you to everyone for the memories, Former TLX Staff Winters

I dont think we've ever had a player have to log off the server just to download ts. This will be the final response from staff regarding your ban appeal. Reasoning: You were requested on ts for a RDM case and instead of going on after downloading ts, you came here to appeal the ban. Your appeal is vague and does not seem like you care about being unbanned at all. You failed to inform the staff member you needed to log off if you are telling the truth. Recommendation: Take more time to make a decent appeal, and make it at least look like you care. Topic will be locked to prevent further responses.

-1 I don't see this being as big of an issue as you might think. All of our staff should know what is considered a "Planned terror attack" and what isn't. Role-playing only goes so far in Arma before it gets out of hand and defeats the purpose of Takistan life. This is still a game, not real life so anyone claiming "Oh but terrorists do just run around killing everyone randomly" is not a valid excuse. I find it hard to believe our staff didn't do anything about it, maybe there were more details that you didn't know about? If you feel like that staff member should've handled the situation differently, speak with higher level staff members when it happens or just file a player report on the website as Captain has said.

+1 I've never liked the fact that player reports are public. Players reporting someone else whether it's for rule breaks or flat out being toxic should not be seen by the public. With player reports being public, players are less likely to post them because they can receive backlash and or get harassed for it. Player reports almost never directly result in the accused being banned, or otherwise getting in trouble so saying that the accused should be allowed to defend themselves does not make sense. If there is a real issue then all parties will be talked to on TS by staff before anything happens. The reports are meant to be used if for some reason the issue could not be taken to a help room right away. And I'm not sure what needs to be discussed on a player report? Like why should someone whos not even involved, who wasn't even present when the issue happened, or who doesn't have full knowledge of whats going on be allowed to voice their opinion?

This will be the final response from staff regarding your ban appeal. As of right now, your ban was unjustified and will be lifted. Reasoning 1) You were reported by a player for RDM and had direct video evidence against you. From personal experiences of both Rogue and myself, we have had suicide vests go off and the bomb spawns a little bit in front of you where you are looking. However, as staff has conducted additional tests we have come to the conclusion that this is not always the case and that the bomb can spawn directly under the users character. 2) Rogue and I gathered all of the evidence that was presented and went as far as to test how the suicide vests work ourselves. We brought in all parties involved and had everyone's side of the story as to what happened. At no time did you give any reason why it was not you who used the vest nor did you inform us of past issues between you and the accusing party and the actual perpetrator who caused all of this. As for what actually happened it was a very close case as to who used the vest. We spoke with Mr.M, Kaplan, and yourself about the issue and we went with what we had while gathering feedback from other staff members before making a decision. We do apologize for our role in your ban and will make sure this does not happen again. You will also receive in-game compensation for time lost due to the ban. Mr.M, in turn, will receive a ban. If you still feel like the staff handling the case did not do a good enough job, or have any other questions please use our staff complaint section on the website or come speak with us directly on TS3.
