Starting off a new segment in the TLX community we will be releasing monthly updates on overall general news, staff development with our Arma 2 & Arma 3 servers, rule & server changes, as well as resolutions regarding community drama that occurred month. Community & Staff Issues As the popularity of TLX has been growing the staff at TLX have not necessarily been prepared for all of the issues that have been occurring. Over this past week and in the coming weeks we will be finishing up reworking everything regarding our staff team. This includes proper case reports for issues to keep track of bad players, proper staff procedures and expectations, and a rework on staff applications. We have taken a lot of feedback and have heard the community members who have spoken up. In the coming week, we will also be working to become more transparent, accessible, and fair to our entire player base. To wrap things up we would like to ask all of our players to fill out a short survey on TLX. Your input will be used to help us determine how we will proceed in improving certain areas of the community and server. Click here to fill out the TLX Community Survey General News Diving into this busy week, we would like to announce a new member to our development team. LeRoy, a previous dev on ALRP will be working directly with Giovanni on the upcoming Arma 3 Takistan life server. More updates on the progress of the Arma 3 server will be released weekly starting not this week but the next. With the website well into its first month of operations, we are still in the process of adding format information for different topics such as supporter applications, faction white-listing, and more. Teamspeak 3 has been upgraded to allow for more slots and we are working to add/fix a TS3 Bot that reaches staff members when someone joins a help room as this should help with wait times. A Twitter account will be operational soon to give quicker updates on different issues and topics. Rules Server AND TLX community rules are being reworked to clarify issues that have been reported to us. As for community feedback and suggestions regarding rules we also will be trying to add, change, or otherwise modify rules every week if needed. We realize that there are many complaints about how the rules are vague in some stances and that will be addressed in time. Rule changes will start to be announced via discord and on the website. It will be up to the players to stay updated on changes as not knowing will not be an excuse in support rooms cases. The server rules will be merged with the website soon enough and will have more of a cleaner and professional look. Arma 2 Bugs & Development As the player base has spiked recently there have been a lot more bugs, glitches, and just things not working. Rest assured that these will be fixed in the coming weeks. We will also be looking to add more RP missions and aspects to our mission file as well as possibly reworking entire factions *cough PMC cough*. Sound mods that have been brought up have been added and or in the process of being added as well as a new Anti-Cheat and Rcon system for our staff team. Expanding off of what was said regarding transparency with the community, we will be looking to open up our Trello to the public eye. This will allow everyone to see what we have taken in regards to community feedback/suggestions as well as what we are currently working on or have finished for TLX. Conclusions Finishing up, the entire staff team would like to thank all of the new players who have been working with us to grow and change TLX for the better. We have all seen the passion our players have for Takistan life whether it's helping with suggestions or taking initiative to create a better RP experience and it definitely means a lot to all of the staff here. This will be the final response from staff regarding your ban appeal. As of right now your ban was justified and will not be lifted. You are banned on the TLX Arma 2 server as well as TS3, you may still use Discord or this website. Reasoning 1) You were originally banned for 3 days due to not coming on TS3 for a VDM case. You later came on TS3 after already being banned to appeal. 2) When coming on TS3 to appeal your ban or talk about the issue, you were extremely toxic, immature, and disrespectful to the staff handling the case. You then disconnected as staff was talking. Your ban was extended to 14 days due to this. 3) This ban appeal is horrible as you did not even include the correct or all of the information as required. You may re-appeal on February 25th (7 days). Recommendation Re-appeal correctly, grow up, and take responsibility if you want to play on TLX so bad. This thread will be locked to prevent further responses.

Following a meeting between the server administrators, a decision has been made. A consensus has been reached that ABU JASEM was not hacking on the server, but the multiple issues at hand were the results of either server glitches or desync. Some of his actions do not make sense from a hacker's point of view. While he is being cleared in terms of the hacking, the staff disrespect over several occasions will not fly. His ban will be reduced from a permanent one to one of 3 days starting from yesterday's ban, meaning it will expire on February 20th at 7:32 PM EST. Regards, TLX Administration

+1 Nice guy, mature and modest. Never had an issue with Domo and he's always been kind and open with everyone. He never fails to assist when asked, roleplays well and has a good understanding of the rules. We've talked a lot, he's competent and informed about issues on the server and the general feel of the community. I would suggest that Domocop14 be made Junior Moderator. Lord Goat, you initially joined the server under the name Gay Lord and were asked to change it. You then changed it to Queer Lord, Lesbian Lord, Sapphic Lord and I temp banned you for inappropriate names. I called you into teamspeak regarding these names and you logged off to avoid getting on and your ban was increased. Today you were allowed back on the server with Gay Lord which you know was an issue in the past. Whether it is your name or not, It was brought up that people may be offended for it. You were THEN called into a teamspeak help room because you stole a jet fighter from OPFOR safezone, flew it upside down and into the runway and logged off when you were called on. As for lying to Admin's, since switching from Dart to Battlemetrics, I could not immediatley compare your GUID to that of your other names so I asked you if youre the same person, then you told me that it was not you. I immediately double checked with our global player list and confirmed that no only was it you, but you lied to my face no doubt to get out of trouble. I am going to be recommending that your ban stays permanent, good luck with your ban appeal.

Just a quick one chaps, I suggest restricting staff positions for adults. If you want reasons as to why kids shouldn't be staff.... go play on any of the Altis life servers for A3, experience it firsthand for yourself. Iv just had a lovely morning of ear rape from pre-pubescent admins on Strayagaming I can still hear the high pitched ringing in my ears. The current staff have been great in the way they have handled issues, even the ones I have disagreed with. (You know who you are you bloody cunts <3). As it stands, with the current population of the community, I think there are more than enough staff at any given time to deal with issues or to provide help. Iv run servers for myself and others..... regardless of the game/mod, its not always fun and games as im sure you will agree. So big ups to the staff. Give yourselves a pat on the back and have yourselves a beer (if you are old enough LMAO)

I’m saying the only one handling this should be the owner since no one can argue with his statement let it be bias or not. But “big admins” that are his friends giving opinions is bias and seems pretty unfair if their votes are counted.

im gonna add that all the vids the view distance isnt raised like it was raised from my point of view, there was no snapping at all on mycrosshairs i already knew where all those players i killed are. becuase i have many team mates an they all tell me there locations. all the videos there was for sure desync. the video of me shooting into the hill was me shooting a humvee an in MY SCREEN U CAN SEE IT but not in the admins screens, an that was desync when u see a vehicle at a spot but it is somewhere else an u shoot the vehicle at the first spot an it gets damaged at the second location. this has been verified by many other players. it is not my fault. i was not even shooting it was my ai, to me an my ai we see a humvee there but it was somewhere else. ONCE AGAIN ALL THIS WAS ALL ADDRESSED BY THE ADMINS AN THEY ALL AGRREED TO UNBAN ME. THERE JUST MAKING THIS PUBLIC TO SHOW THE REST THAT IM GOING THROUGH THE RIGHT PATH OF USING THE BAN APPEAL SYSTEM. I AM NOT A HACKER THERE IS ZERO EVIDENCE OF ME HACKING @ThePsychopath There was no third party programs at all. you have no proof of me hacking i disproved all of it an even the admins an players agreed. you werent even envolved in any of these situations, you dont have anything to do with this. and for the duping even GIOVANNI agreed that it was a glitch due to circumstances that i was in in spawn with kim jung fun spawning any multiple vehicles that all detonated at once
