+1 having locations save has been abused by indies and it can be difficult for players after a restart. Once restart in announced you need to hang around a vehicle shop until restart unless you want to walk for 30 mins or just kill yourself and lose your stuff. If we make it so players load in at their base no matter where they logged off I believe it would make the server more fun

um... I don't really know how to respond to this... I guess my main problem with this is how disrespectfully you went about resigning. Just because you are upset with how the server is being ran does not constitute this level of rudeness. If you had such large problems why not just be sincere and say this in a way like "I will be leaving this community because I don't agree with [Fill in the blank]. I wish you best best of luck ect" there is really no need to go about it in a way that puts a bad light on your own reputation along with the server's reputation. This is just my opinion and feel free to disregard it.

So recently I was thinking about how the stun shotgun works. I was thinking that since it uses a slug it might make sense if you where allowed to use it to stun someone in an unarmored vehicle through a window. I am putting this in general chat because I don't know if it would be a good idea or not and I just want to know what other people think on the topic.

Well as of right now it is against the rules in any way. So if the moderator punishes someone for stunning they are simply doing their job and enforcing the rules. It in no way shows that the moderator is of "low intelligence"

I think that indeps do need better gear but only non-supporter indeps. Supporter gear is plenty Powerfull while the weapons non supporters have acces to can't compete with the default weapons of the other factions. i also agree that rockets should ONLY be used on vehicles. At least by blufor. For NATO to use rockets on civilian criminals in a country they are policing would bring up international debates. A peacekeeping group would never be allowed to use explosives on civilians unless absolutely necessary.

Yea it would be fun to make them like Easter eggs that you need to find around the map. you find a random npc that passes them out. Each npc would only pass out one license and you would need to find multiple npcs to get all the licenses.

Gio just has not had the time. but yea this has happened every time I get on civ for the last few days. the most recent time I did not declare terror but it started as soon as I captured the 3rd gang area.

How are you able to give supporter to people? I thought only gio could do that. If you can though count me in.

Actualy you refused to say what you where in and you where implying that you where using artilary... and we where where forced to use side to communicate because we did not want you to know what we where saying.

Earlier today we had an indep named Supersehen in a blufor channel for 30-45 mins. He was in a tank actively shooting Blufor for a large portion of the time and he refused to leave the channel after we asked him to multiple times. The fact that there is no rule prohibiting him was his excuse and I believe that this is something that should be obviously against the rules. There is no RP reason a terrorists would be on a NATO radio unless MABY if you stole one. He was about 5k away in a tank and never had the chance to do so and on top of that it really just makes it harder on blufor because we are forced to use side which can break up and be hard to use. pleas add a rule stating that indeps cant go into a blufor ts channel.

that is what we where telling him but he was saying it only counts as meta gaming if he uses the information...

JROTC is a high school elective run by former military personnel (usually a 1st sgt and a colonel) My battalion consists of around 350 cadets that are split into 5 companies. I am currently the cadet 1st sgt of Delta company and I have had much leadership experience within my 3 years in JROTC. I usually need a strict set of well defined rules and standards to be happy with my environment or job. For this reason when I see people not following the rules I can get annoyed but I never let my feelings on this control me. For this reason when I see players RDM or break other rules I will usually ether sort it out with them so they wont break the rules again or I will take it to support. I try not to get angry enough to have a bias against people as I feel that you should always consider what the other person is thinking and try to work it out with them. Why should you be a staff member? I believe I would be a good staff member on TLX because I love this server and everyone on it and I really enjoy showing new people around. On TLX I work with players even if I don't get along with them and I try not to hold grudges. I Have not broken any rules other then the occasional accidental rdm and I have always payed comp. I have had lots of experience On Unturned servers dealing with RDM and I know what to look for and how to deal with those types of problems. What qualifications or experience do you have to offer? (if any) Before I came to Arma 2 last summer I spent over 1000 hours on RP servers in a game called Unturned. I have been head admin on Bricks Rp server, head moderator on Caboose's RP server, junior moderator on Steve Konig's RP server, admin on King's RP server, and I have held position on a few others I can't remember the names of.

-1 you are a great guy and you would be great for staff but you just don't play regularly enough in my opinion. With less then 50 hours in 3 months that's about an everage of just over 30 mins a day (46hours/90 days is .51 hours)

Honestly I am sick and tired of people talking about how the server is dying. If you think it is dying fix it by playing on it more, inviting friends, and not being toxic and killing everyone you see. Talking about this in the forums won't fix the problem. To fix the problem you must get more involved in game.

+1 great player follows all the rules and does not try to start fights. Have not played with him a ton lately but in the past I have had nothing but good experiences with him.

So I was recently killed at cpr by an indep who shot me and claimed it was a planned terror attack. Because I was in CPR it was allowed and I would like the limits of planned terror attacks to exclude just shooting all civs in a certain area. if we allow it to stay then indeps and declared terrorists could at minimum, kill anyone at all that enters CPR. how I see it this would ruin the game for all civs as they would not be able to use the main entrance to the most important city on the server without being killed. I went to support and it was ruled by the staff that was online that it was within the limits of a planned terror attack and was allowed by the rules. here is there video of me getting killed. I understand that they where allowed to kill me under the rules but I believe that the rule that allowed them to kill me needs to be elaborated on but NOT removed the rule as a whole is good and should stay but my understanding is that the rule was put in place to allow collateral damage when civs ether get in the way of killing cops or are in the vicinity of a bomb explosion not just any civ in CPR

@staan you do know that the Indep area is part of Opfor territory... Opfor owns that area so they should be able to control CPB as well.
