I mainly play Civilian working with opfor as a communism civ and trying to create ceasefires with opfor and indeps to fight bluefor to test bluefors organization skills. Im responsible of over 5 million dollar's worth of asset's for my old man that ive been trying to sell for the last 2 years, Currently im in the process of taking to 2 people to court for causing 10 thousand dollar's worth of damage to a range rover breaking into the storage stealing an 85 inch tv and over 5 thousand dollars worth of fishing rodes so it's been a bit stressful for the past 2 weeks which Im sorry to bluefor for taking it out on them with a t-55 for the last week. I don't have any kids and live a pretty solitary life I associate with some of the biggest names in my country and been in some of the most un believable scenarios I will add a link on a scenario that happened to me when I repossessed a 180 thousand dollar boat and got chased by the head police officer in a water taxi where 4 years later we now own the boat. Im someone that's very active on the server , Since it's been up from the start of this year I currently hold the most hours in game according to battlemetrix @ 545 hours https://www.battlemetrics.com/servers/arma2/1837700/leaderboard?filter[period]=AT due to my experiences online from 8pm NZST to 2am NZST there isn't any staff that really come on, The main players that come on during these time the server can be quiet dead and un populated from 2-6 people and have witnessed some rage quiets of fail rp and indeps killing civs by rdm when there is no staff on. I mainly wish to become staff to help with this issue during these times Another note to this is that I didn't actually want to become staff at first until I more thought about things if I am serious about opening my very own business Im going to need to get alot more experience dealing with people all around the world , in 2017 for 6 months I was managing the water theme park in picton for a while but never got any experience from people from oversea's it was more locals from Marlborough region and wellington , where If I become staff I would be getting the experience I need for my future and using what I will be learning in real life scenario's. No Describe yourself I'm currently 17 and will be 18 in a month , currently graduated from School and have a lot of time open , I live in the west of Ireland , I found a fondness for games when i moved to Ireland in 2008 I mainly fell in love with the cod series and played that until i managed to buy myself a pc with money i had earned , In early 2016 i started to play Arma 2 Dayz here is where I fell in love with Arma 2 learning how to play the game and I met friends there that I even play together with to this day after that i stopped playing Arma 2 and moved onto Arma 3 thats when i discovered RP servers after playing a few hours on the server I had managed to make multiple friends and after that experience my love for RP Servers grew after a while Pearse introduced me to TLX I played on the server for about 2 months after a while of playing on the server i wanted to give back to the server that had provided such amount of enjoyment to me and my friends. Although I do not have a lot of experience I do think i am fair to people and try to resolve issues with most efficiency , I have become frustrated with some of the Toxicity of players joining and harassing other players of course there is a difference between a player who does rude things to other on purpose or someone who has just messed up , after countless times being rdm'd myself and reporting it to staff i felt powerless as staff tried to resolve issues that they were clearly in the wrong but would deny it and after having multiple situations i wanted to sign up as staff to give to the community and crack down on these players that think they can get away with breaking rules I don't mean by this that staff are doing a bad job but staff are at times overwhelmed by reports even tho it may be a rare event when TLX begins to grow even more i feel like usch an even would become more often and i want to be there to help and give back to the community that support me and i support back What qualifications or experience do you have to offer? Having a child has taught me how to deal with younger folk extremely well, to relate to them and how to better control my temper when dealing to them when the need arises. In my line of work I am always in charge of a small team of other tradesmen, I have 8 years worth of experience as a site foreman for my fathers concrete contracting business - running crews and organizing logistics, payments, dealing with disagreements, liaising with clients and all the other goodies entailed.... all while getting in the mud myself. I have lived in multiple countries Africa(3 years), I have also lived in France(2 years), and Thailand (6 months), but right now I live in Florida. My parents were missionary over seas for the majority of my life and that is why I have been around so much. I am currently a junior in high school and have been doing JROTC for all 3 years of high school. JROTC is a high school elective run by former military personnel (usually a 1st sgt and a colonel) My battalion consists of around 350 cadets that are split into 5 companies. I am currently the cadet 1st sgt of Delta company and I have had much leadership experience within my 3 years in JROTC. I usually need a strict set of well defined rules and standards to be happy with my environment or job. For this reason when I see people not following the rules I can get annoyed but I never let my feelings on this control me. For this reason when I see players RDM or break other rules I will usually ether sort it out with them so they wont break the rules again or I will take it to support. I try not to get angry enough to have a bias against people as I feel that you should always consider what the other person is thinking and try to work it out with them. Why should you be a staff member? I believe I would be a good staff member on TLX because I love this server and everyone on it and I really enjoy showing new people around. On TLX I work with players even if I don't get along with them and I try not to hold grudges. I Have not broken any rules other then the occasional accidental rdm and I have always payed comp. I was saddened to hear that RISE shut down, which was my favorite Takistan Life server to play on. After seeing this server, it has brought back my joy for Takistan Life and I have been on it almost every day since I have found it. In addition, I am a very calm person on the server when it comes to almost any situation. Remaining calm is one of the most important things a staff member needs to do when a situation arises. I also have over 2000 hours clocked in on just Takistan Life alone, which would seem like an asset as I could answer most questions gameplay/roleplay related. Well, I've battled this over myself wondering if i had the temper to handle this position, so ever since the server came back up i waited for awhile and took on more of a leadership role on Opfor as of late. Im a 18 year old (05-03-1999) guy from The Netherlands. I enjoy play FPS and Roleplaying games. I can be slightly ''toxic'' but if you stay on my good side i will most likely stay friendly to you. My past experiences as a staff member is from RISE gaming takistan life, I was a Senior-Administrator on that server so i ahve experience with the staff panel (RCon). I have played on that server for about 4/5 years so my roleplaying and staff experiences are on point in my opinion. I speak fluent English and Dutch. I can also talk a little bit of German as i live on the border to germany. Why should you be a staff member? No Describe yourself I am 16 Years Old living in the UK who barley leaves his PC except for college i'm working my way to become a police officer and I and I am dedicated arma player. Why should you be a staff member? I am an active member of the community and I play a lot on the server, I am mature and liked by most people i'm calm and a no biased person and i know the rules very well and can keep a level head. I see what the mods and admins have to deal with I feel as a member of the community I should help them as the deal with a lot. I try to role play to the best of my abilities and make it fun for everyone on the server. Also I question a lot, this is because I feel without asking questions I can't understand the reasoning behind the answer better and can fully understand why the decision is made.
