The First UN Peace Conference in Takistan

Today, representatives from the United Nations, Takistan Liberation Army and the Mujahideen met at a border checkpoint to negotiate a ceasefire between UN peacekeepers and islamic extremists.

Wfim, representing the Mujahideen arrives at the conference.

Wfim and Comrade representing the UN meet.

Derreck, representing the TLA arrives at the conference late.

The conference was interrupted by an attempted suicide bombing, however the suspect was shot dead before the bomb was activated. Talks then continued into the night.

Talks began between the TLA and the Mujahideen regarding arms deals. Unknown goods were exchanged.

As tensions continued to rise, NATO infantry maintained a presence keeping overwatch on the situation.

NATO observed the Mujahideen having their own units overwatching the talks.

After tensions rose to a point where the UN representative felt that talks were no longer possible, NATO units withdrew and the deal was cancelled.

There will be no peace until next time.

This is why I like the UN. It opens up more RP opportunity and this is the first good example of it.

We did this with about 10 players online. Unfortunately this sort of RP is hard to pull off when there are more than 40 players online.
