    KIDNAPPING So i think that insurgents should kidnap OPFOR or BLUFOR personnel when they have a chance, for example:if there are a bunch of dead OPFORs and only one is still alive,if the number of insurgents present at the location outnumbers the presence of OPFOR the operator may surrender and walk into an open field and put his hands behind his head,when the insurgent approaches him they may zip tie him (if they do have zip ties) and put him inside a vehicle and get him into insurgent safezone.While the OPFOR is inside the car,the kidnapped individual may not EXIT THE CAR or mention his current location to his comrades(cuz if he does that there wouldn't be FUN). When the OPFOR or BLUFOR operator enters the insurgent safezone OPFOR or BLUFOR units may not intervene.While inside the zone the insurgents can do whatever they want with the kidnapped guy like interrogation or some other things,just not stealing his gear.The faction that has one of it's members kidnapped may make a deal with the insurgents to get their operator back so you could do like a Roleplay scenario where there are insurgents on one side with the operator while on the other side the opposing force they're dealing with. Insurgents may ask for anything in exchange for their hostage EXCEPT the opposing faction vehicles and there would be limited amount that the insurgents could request in exchange for the prisoner. Money limit 450,000$ Items limit:10 If you do agree remember to leave a like!

    They'd be escorted by the insurgents to the vehicle and when they reach the safezone they will be zip tied Or they wil bel zip tied until the insurgent vehicle comes to pick them up
  7. VIP Supporter equipment

    The VIP Supporter So while playing,i noticed that there was the standart SUPPORTER and the VIP SUPPORTER,when i found out about that i thought "Oh okay,they must be the same so yeah cool." But then one day i found out about the differences between them and how the VIP Supporter equipment is way more powerfull and superior than what the standart supporter has access to,of course it makes sense that the VIP Supporter should have better equipment than the standart one but,in my opinion their weapons and gear are VERY OP when compared to standart equipment. THE VIP SUPPORTERS and their gear. So some of the people that paid the price to receive the VIP,aren't very nice to other players,they feel like they're WAY superior than the normal players of the ARMA 2 TLX COMMUNITY and don't really care about playing in the server how it was meant to be,most of the times they just join to kill insurgents or whoever is considered a threat for them.I know that basicly every each of them are old players that might have lost interest in doing what they already did for a LONG Time but i think that some of them shouldn't be like that. And when they do start killing it's just devastating because the damage of what the weapons they carry is immensively powerfull like the Lock On Anti Tank rocket launchers such as the Metis or the Javelin,I do know that the Rocket launchers i mentioned uses rockets that occupies a LOT OF SPACE in their inventory but some of them do not only carry those Overpowered rocket launchers,but also AS50s (That's what i've seen most of the VIP Supporters use:AS50 with a lock on anti tank rocket launcher) and most of the times these anti material sniper rifles have Thermal scopes that makes it more powerfull.So it's not only a 50 CAL but they also have thermal scopes. I'm not saying that they should be removed since most of the people who owns the VIP SUPPORTER Bought it with their own money and have the right to have what they paid for,but i think that the prices should be higher for the ammunition.Since most of them are people that already have TONS and TONS of dollars in their bank accounts, i'm assuming that it wouldn't be such a HUGE problem for them (I'm just assuming please don't judge me.)But when they buy their ammo again they will think a little more before buying it. Of course this is just my opinion and suggestion,everyone has their own opinion about something. Also if the person reading this has VIP Supporter please do not get offended by what i'm saying here,it's just what i think.Of course some people that owns it aren't like that. If you do like it i would appreciate a LIKE !

    CONVOY So since the ARMA 2 TLX Server nothing happens much instead of:VDMs,RDMs people asking for comp etc...I'm suggesting that from time to time OPFOR or BLUFOR could make Convoys.There would be 2 types of Convoys,the standart convoy and the High Value Convoy. Basic Convoy 2 or 3 KAMAZ or MTVR(utility,repair) 2 Armed UAZ or humvee The basic Convoy would be transporting low-medium tier LOOT such as:pistols,submachine guns,medium-low price ores,ammunition or supplies too.The KAMAZ or MTVR would be in the middle between the armed UAZs,there would also be a 10 metre space between each vehicle. Now,the High Value Convoy would transport would be transporting on its gear powerfull and dangerous thing such as explosive devices,RPGs,assault rifles,sniper rifles or high value ores for example:diamonds or platinum.So since it`s transporting high value items inside it`s gear or TRUNK it should be very well protected. High Value Convoy 2,3 or 4 KAMAZ or MTVR(Utility,repair,ammunition) 3 or 2 armed UAZs or humvees. 1 Armored vehicle. So,these convoys would be like a event that can be lead by a group of players but of course in order to actually form a convoy "event" the group would have to ask for a staff member that is currently ONLINE at that moment for permission to do it,and if the people making the convoy wish to make it go through BLUFOR or OPFOR territory they would obviously have to ask the faction that controls that territory. The way it would work is that the faction doing the convoy would announce in GLOBAL CHAT for all the players that are currently in the server when they start moving,the convoy would have a path set by the faction,the path would be marked by putting black dots on the map,On the way,armed civilians or insurgents could set an ambush to eliminate the drivers and the escord and if they suceed by doing that,they may take the loot located inside the gear or trunk on the KAMAZ(which in case of the BLUFOR the MTVR) A couple hours ago (when this post was posted)me and some people playing as OPFOR did a convoy with admin authorization,it had 2 KAMAZ [Ammunition and Repair] filled with weapons and explosive devices,and it was being escorted by a BMP-2.Some time later when we passed through Checkpoint Delta and went into BLUFOR territory (also with authorization) We got ambushed after a couple minutes by some insurgents with a CDK tag on their names,they started firing explosive ordinances at our direction missing the trucks and barely damaging the BMP-2 we then went to go hunt for them leaving both trucks to be guarded by the BMP-2.Some time later we noticed that both trucks were on fire but the BMP-2 was perfectly FINE as if the insurgents shot at the trucks on purpouse just to destroy the loot (there was like 3 million worth of loot inside those trucks),we later found them and neutralised them but the convoy was totally ruined.So there are some bad things about making these convoys. Also the Trucks should always be unlocked and the ones who plan to intercept the convoy. Also if you like it remember to leave a like!

    Also i forgot to mention that,IF the convoy happens to be engaged the escort or the drivers could request reinforcements,these reinforcements should come from the faction Main Base.So it would be recommended to do it fast and not waste much time. By the way if the escort or the drivers died before getting the reinforcements message through.The message may be ignored if it was sent after the person was KIA.

    The SCUD-B So i knew already that the SCUD was USELESS but i thought that it would have a script that it would actually ALLOW you to fire it's missile and ACTUALLY Hit something. But apparently, i was VERY wrong since It does not actually do anything it just fires a rocket at the sky and then some seconds later it disappears in thin air. The vehicle itself and it's functions are not TOTALLY USELESS Since it'd be cool to do a roleplay with them but,i think the vehicle itself is WAY TOO overpriced for what it can ACTUALLY Offer,so what i'm basicly suggesting is that it's PRICE should be lowered A LOT.Which by saying "A LOT" i mean reducing like...55% of it's current price. It would also be cool to have it implemented in the OPFOR faction. (I do know the current server developers are VERY Busy with ARMA 3 by trying to make all the TLX community happy.But,like i said in my previous forum POST,if they have time and wish to continue doing some updates on the ARMA 2 TLX Server,it would be awesome if this could actually happen(OF COURSE This is onlyif people DO actually AGREE On reducing the price of the SCUD) Thank you for taking your time to read this post!

    Yeah but Smidge also said that we're allowed to engage hostile armor if we spot one... I also disagree with the whole "no use of explosives on personnel" because if that would EVER be applied we wouldn't be allowed to fire over infantry with mounted grenade launchers.

    FREE BUT LIMITED VEHICLES So i'm suggesting that OPFOR and BLUFOR vehicles should be FREE for both sides during WAR. But there would be a limited amount of vehicles so they can be used wisely by both forces agaisn't each other during a battle and not just spam jets or helicopters or ground vehicles etc.I do not really know how far can ARMA 2 OA Be modified but if this is a possibility it would be nice because money wouldn't actually matter when fighting instead, the people who are fighting agaisn't each other.The players would have to think a lot to make a decision if they should use it or save it for later in the WAR. Also most times, the people in each side tend to waste a LOT more money than what they get for winning a war which is 4 million. Forward Operating Base My another suggestion is that Forward Operating Bases A.K.A FOBs should be allowed to be made during WAR Time but not PEACE Time.They would be made by using the barricades that are available to both forces.It would be used as a temporary base for when the Friendly Forces (Depending on which side you are in if you are OPFOR or BLUFOR) start pushing deeper into the enemy territory. These FOBs should be big enough to fit at least one helicopter and 3 or 2 HMMWVs (In case of the OPFOR 2 or 3 UAZs or Military Off Roads.)They should also have supplies such as Medical Supplies,small or large repair kits and gas tanks. The Main base may only be used as a spawn point or to get vehicles or supplies. These Forward Operating Bases may not be positioned near CAPTURE POINTS neither ENEMY BASEs.And they should not be marked on the map because the enemy might see it and fire artillery at that exact location destroying the entire FOB and the individuals inside and that moment. Prisoners of WAR Prisoners of war A.K.A POWs are to be captured when the OPPOSING FORCES surrounds and outnumber friendly forces in a certain location such as a FOB. Prisoner camps should be placed and MARKED inside friendly territory away from the frontlines.The POWs are to be used as hostages by the ones who captured them. It should be noted that Prisoner camps should not be fired upon with artillery or be attacked by Aircrafts.They may only be attacked and captured by ground units. When surrounded the players that are outnumbered may drop their weapons on the ground and put their hands in the air,if they attempt to resist(which in my opinion is something very dumb) they may be shot at or stunned.When captured,they are to be escorted to the nearest FOB or Prisoner Camp where they will be kept as hostages until friendly forces capture the FOB or prisoner camp. Prisoners of war are also allowed to escape when they have a chance. Thank you for your attention -Dereck
