Why should i de-arm my faction? Other than so your indeps can just kill spree us aswell

Alright time to put in my 2 cents. Put it this way....The only objective the indepts have is to kill or be killed, they never roleplay, they dont interact with civs, anything with a gun is shot dead, So let me ask the indeps this. Why should i give up my airpower to let you cross into a territory where all you do is sit on top of buildings and kill as many cops as you can, You never actually go to civs and act like extermists your just players that exterminate, Therefore you should be exterminated with extreme measures as OPFOR is the only faction that has a chance agaisnt you, Blufor can only go into martial law for 20mins without an admin screaming the police chiefs ear off to get the fuck off martial law. This is why OPFOR is pulling out attack helicopters and tanks, its to keep your faction at bay, to let the blufor RP and breath for awhile. So give me a good reason why i should land my choppers and put away my armor other than “Its a game”

This is a heads up, whenever the whitelist is put in, the TLA gun runners may no longer exist due to more restrictions being put on vehicles

Only supporter have access to these tanks, and for helis? for the most part are shot down when the indepts are actually trying. Jets we don't use because we have barely anyone besides staff who can fly them

-1 Its because indepts are such a problem we do this, All they do is circle around to get a better shot at us on CPA, OPFOR most of the time don't even have the manpower to man all the checkpoints so we close them down, So either deal with it or find a way into the south without going through the checkpoints, Also when we do mark them, trolls will erase the markings from the map. Not out fault

Bias? Maybe a little bit but i only speak what i see for myself, and as for fighting with players, I dont start fights, i finish them

I know, And i use the BMP3 alot now, However its not enough anymore, by the time you know where they are they already have got you. You can scan the hills all you want and come up with nothing and then the next second your bmp is gone. And also the smoke hardly works, its only saved me once and its because i was going down hill

Wookie, Id like to see you try then, The rocket follows us to our postion, It isnt like a helicopter where i can flare it off and its not a 2shot kill. They will hide 1.5km away and fire from there, If you are unable to see this then your underestimating the launcher

So far, ive lost to many vehicles and troops due to the indepts camping on hills and locking on then disspearing for an hour, waiting till we bring something else and blowing that up aswell. I'm tired of It and it should either be removed or restricted to war-time only

-1 Im tired of seeing indepts take CPB or CPD just to get around to CPA to take us out, And its always a death sentence to take them around CPB. And as i hate taking unnecessary casulties i will lock these checkpoints and force you to channel into one area where i can control insurgents, And take a load off of BLUFOR as they are always being picked on

Im going to +1 this for the reason being is that indepts are a KOS faction, And they cause massive casualties to both sides. I had killed an indept across the border because he was climbing a hill to CPA, and if i didnt i would of lost most of my vechiles and forced to call in an airstrike on his postion, and i dont know about the rest of you but i hate having my men killed because we HAVE to give the indepts a chance

Yes we may have had our ups and downs, and you may have touch my nerve a bit, But when it comes down to it you’re a pretty nice guy. Although you get very heated at time but we all get angry at one point

1. Lack of fighter pilots

We as opfor are not really using L39s anymore, at least whenever i am online we have no one that can fly jets. Therefore we have recently switched over to the mi-24's. Now with that said i have lot Millions of dollars worth in hinds to Indepts setting up AI mounted Igla pods all over their hills, Even then most of our choppers are lost to an indept with a M2 truck somewhere that our radar is not picking up and we are shot down when we our guard is down which is why they never last more than an hour at most

2. We cannot use Ground armor

We are forced to use air assets because of the way indepts perform, As soon as i pull a BMP-2 or T-72 the indepts will sit on a hill, Supporter or not and use a rocket launcher to take out all of our heavy equipment. Which is why OPFOR has seen a sharp decline in armor usage So whenever those annoying snipers take on a hill some distance away, it is easier to just call in an airstrike rather than loose 4 men to a the sniper trying to take him out on foot or in a vehicle.

3. The m47 Dragon

As you know, Supporter indepts are given access to a lock on missile launcher which enables them to sit out 1.5 clicks in blufor territory and pick off each and every one of our armored vehicles. Which is why we have to use an airstrike to take him out because even in a BTR or some other tank or APC they just dip behind some rocks and our shells are no longer effective. And with artillery being War use only the only other asset we have is the MI24 or the L39(if we have someone to fly it).

In other words, Take away the mi24s and we loose our counter against the indepts
