Well I guess Ive opened a whole new can of worms. Deleted the PsiSYN files, I now get these errors followed by a game crash lol I am going to start from scratch and download everything again. Don't sweat it, sorry guys! I'll get it figured out. Just feeling a little like Comrade right now haha

I followed all the steps but I am still getting this error when joining the server: "You cannot play/edit this mission; it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted. SirB_markers_intelligence" Any idea what I might be doing wrong or where/why that one file is missing? I've also confirmed my game files through steam.

Yeah the upper echelon is in trouble now. Us Plebs cause enough damage with our little old AKs, imagine what I’ll do with this AS50 -Motley Krew 4 Life (2 claps and a Ric Flair whooo) lol

And a +2 for adding more activity in the South. It is dead! Making the south bank open to robbery would help spread out the terror in Rasman that Hordan was mentioning. That would also push a little more Opfor activity and even more reason for terrorist civs to be somewhere other than Rasman. Can't wait to see TLX's changes and hard work put into place. When exactly can we expect the stat wipe?

I have to agree with Smidge and Elijah on this one, but I do see where you are coming from Hordan. I saw the comment about adding a few more indep slots and I think that would be pretty cool because my group usually consists of 2-5 guys and it's hard finding that many slots open on Indep. We do try to mix in the RP with setting up our own checkpoints, committing armed robberies, etc.. but some of the guys have limited game time and really enjoy declaring terror. We do run into a little confusion regarding kill on sight while being in civ skins though. There's usually not a lot of time for someone to determine if were KOS during an encounter. So maybe adding something like player skins automatically change after they declare terror? I always forget to change while at terror hideout. If that change is possible. On the other side of that I do agree with Pickles comment that there could be a have a little more "prerequisite" for declaring terror. Maybe you also have to be in a gang...if the gang management is working. Which then would require someone to drop 200k. And if the gang management is working, the gang leaders would be a more selective of who actually gets into the gang. Which may cut back on the declaring terror a little, and push those players to indep. Just thinking and throwing out ideas, but I like the conversation and the points that were made.

I see both sides of this case. People do use global chat to bicker a lot...but like Nureha says it can be used for the good of the game play also. We as criminal civs like to declare our takeover of checkpoints and things of that nature that we need everyone in the server to see. "Checkpoint Delta is under Motley Krew watch. Please state your intent to pass." for example So I think the good outweighs the bad here and global chat should be left in game, but we as a community can do better about pushing those individuals and issues to Teamspeak

I don’t think civs should be able to move barriers set in place by Bluefor/opfor. The fun is finding alternate ways around said barriers I do think there should be a bonus for manning CPR. I see the efforts to organize Bluefor and it should definitely be rewarded. It makes my bank runs really tough but super fun!

I found TakiLife a few years ago and fell in love with all aspects of the game. And old group of mine played hardcore for a while! Got married, had 2 kids and changed careers which pulled me away for a little while, but I was extremely excited to see a wave of players coming back around the same time that I randomly logged back in a couple of months ago. For TLX, I enjoy and usually roll as mischievous civ or as independent creating terror. As a civ, I’ve really started to enjoy the role playing aspects and using chat more and more. Like most newbies to the server, it’s definitely something I had to work myself into even after gaming my whole life. But once I found my “taki” voice, it just makes it so much more fun. When I’m playing alone, I usually do tasks that will make me money to spend for when the “group” gathers. Things like mining rubies, running LSD, selling guns, etc... And when the “group” gathers (usually a couple of really cool guys I’ve found and maybe a couple random new guys), we just spend our millions trying to have fun and creating more fun for others. We’ve really enjoyed the new organizational skills deployed by Bluefor, which makes our Mischief that much more exciting! I love TLX and the community. I am grateful for the guys who run everything. I know a lot of “free time” is given up to keeping things running. I will also definitely give the Arma 3 server a shot when it is up, if it’s run by TLX. Thanks guys! DubSixPho is TLX 4 Life!
