The problem is that these people don't follow common sense and are abusing the rule to rdm players. If everyone agrees that that first incidence was rdm then why has the offending player still gone unpunished? it is so that these type of problems don't happen again that I am asking that it be specified what type of thing do and don't count as planned terror attacks.

I think that there should just be a rule that at least one checkpoint must be eather manned or opened. There is no need to close off all the checkpoints

@Garry_hippo in your post you where asking to remove the entire rule and even I disagree with that. The rule is there in case there is collateral damage in bombings and it is needed. I only want it to have more detail.

@Garry_hippo Just because other players abuse the rules to RDM does not mean we should do the same. They ruin the server with stuff like that so if we do it as well it will only make the situation worse. I know the staff will see this post as they work really hard and they respond to even the most random posts. Giovani works especially hard on the forums and he reads nearly every post.

In both situations the moderator that originally was helping me with the problems(the guy you hear in the video talking to them) went to an admin to get a second opinion and both times the admin said that they did not break any rules and they went unpunished. because of the rule players are allowed to rdm like this without punishment which is why i am Proposing more elaboration on what is considered a planned terror attack. I would like to say that before I posted the original video that started this post the admins had already made their decision on it and when I asked if they wanted me to give them the link to the video they said they did not need it but after i posted it on hear they changed their mind on it and agreed with me yet the offending player still went unpunished anyways.

No need to report them because staff will see it on here and see that they are abusing the rule from this post. hopefully the rule is changed because of this.

about an hour after the first incident I was killed again by the same group of indeps as shown in this video you can see in the video that he did not stop shooting once the cop died but continued to shoot untill I was dead as well. right before I die I turn and you can see the guy who killed me and the cop and can see that he would have needed to purposefully switch targets to kill me since the recoil of the gun would not have put me in his cross hairs from his angle. in the end it was decided that since I was close to the blufor it was just an accident but all the same after I took the guy to support he was claiming that he killed me because it was part of a planned terror attack and not because it was an accident he called the attack called "Maghana maghane" and he said it was " Arabic for attack on Rasmen" but if you google translate attack on rasmen in is "hujum ealaa rasmen" which sounds nothing like what he said as seen in this video at 0:34 I understand that because I was close to the blufor so it was considerd an accident but he never claimed it was an accident and again used complete bullshit lies in attempts to get out of trouble. in this next video you can also hear them claim that there where 3-4 blufor and a stryker at CPR and they where "actively firing" yet in the first video there was no stryker is CPR and the only gunshots that go off in the entire time was from the indep who killed me. So from this you can see that they where lying about multiple things to get out of trouble. (the Mod that was originaly dealing with the problem was on my side but later on and admin gets on and favored the indep) I know that this problem was already dealt with I am only putting this out there so people can see that these guys are using the same excuse for every time they kill a civ. I dont have it recorded but at one point they even said that how they understood the rule was that it was there to allow them to kill anyone they wanted including civilians as the intended target as long as it was a planned terror attack. these misinterpretations of the rules in why it needs more detail. It causes people to think they can kill anyone they want.

It's just what overwolf puts on the videos it only shows up in the videos not in my game. I don't know how to remove it

So as most of you know a lot of changes will follow the stat wipe at the end of this month and we are only a few days away. Personally I am very exited and cant wait for all the new changes that will be coming. Hope all of you are as exited as I am! What changes are all of you guys looking forward to the most?

After seeing the logs as provided by winters I see that this was an extream case of being toxic in every way shape and form. From spamming music in voice to racism and deliberately saying stuff in global even though you knew it was offensive. I have seen players like you on this server and mostly all they do is ruin it. After seeing those logs I am glad you got banned for it and I fully support the ban. I am giving your ban appeal a -1

I don't know the severity of what you did but if it was a perm ban I'm assuming it was more then just basic trolling. If your actions were bad enough to get a perm ban I don't know if you could have changed that much in just over a month. I feel reluctant to agree that you should be unbanned but if more information on what exactly you did to get the ban emerges I might support your unban.

+1 I have played with him a good amount and he is lots of fun to play with, he knows the rules and makes it a point to follow them.

Is there any way we could start applying to the faction that will be white-listed early? How I see it is if we cant apply early the first few days after the update will just be a lot of chaos as people try to apply and for the first few days after the update there wont be that many players on blufor and opfor since they will all need to wait for their applications to be accepted. If we have applications open now then people can start playing immediately after the stat wipe rather then just waiting. (And I am just impatient and am getting really excited for the white-listing and want to apply as soon as possible.)

I have noticed that stuff like staff reports and supporter applications are set so only staff members and the person who posted it can see it. After seeing the stuff that goes on when anyone can reply to players reports it really just is not needed and has gotten a bit toxic. It could be a lot less chaotic if only staff members can see it so that it can be dealt with and over with.

The problem is not that you where not following laws the problem is that you RDMed someone. I don't understand why this is takeing so long for you to understand, it really is a simple matter. RDMing is against server rules and it should not be that hard to understand.

+1 I have noticed this as well and I agree that drugs should eather be buffed or resources should be nerfed.

I have seen time and time again new players breaking rules and getting away with it because they "did not know the rules" they use this as an excuse even if they allready knew the rules. I think this is a problem on the server and one way to fix it would be to have a message pop up when people log on to the server asking them to pleas read the rules at tlx-gaming.com. That way none can use ignorance as an excuse for breaking rules.

In my experience there have seen some new players who have gotten off with nothing more than a warning simply because they are new and did not know the rules. It is not just a once or twice thing. It has heppened multiple times. If staff are supposed to punish the players then pleas let it be more well known. I am in no way blameing staff because I really do love all of you and believe you guys do a great job I am just getting annoyed that new players seem to be getting a get out of jail free card.

Im just going to give you some advise. Generally what I do when I see a civ with a gun first I name check ask a teammate to see if they are wanted and if not I'll walk up to them and taze them, restain them then arrest them. If they kill you before you taze them they are breaking rules. Usually though if there is only one of them I'll talk to them for a bit ask them stuff like what they are doing if they kill me they are breaking rules and just go to staff if not you could gain enough trust to simply tell them they are breaking the law and tell them how much the ticket would be and just ask them to put their weapon in a vehicle.

Ok so first off he was not even it town let alone the bank secondly IRl no officer would kill a man who is walking around town with a rifle if anything he would taze him but even then he would try to negotiate first.

He was RDMing a lot yesterday. When I got RDMed by him I took it to a staff room and when the staff tried to get him on TS he left the server so he got a temp ban.

What is happening is that they only get or only accept jobs that involve robbing the bank or killing blufor. What they do is get contracts to 1. Kill two random blufor(the max allowed to be targeted) or 2. Keep cpr clear of all blufor for 5 mins( they do this to kill as many blufor as they can and this happened just yesterday) the PMC have been finding ways around the rules to kill as many blufor as they want and it is getting out of hand. I believe that some changes will need to be made in the rules for PMC to fix this problem.

-1 to removing declaring terror because like smidge said their are only 7 indep slots available. +1 to adding more stuff in the south because as it is we only really use the northern half of the map and the majority of the time the north is just one giant death match between blufor, indeps, pmc, and declared terrorists (the latter 3 all fighting against blufor).
