So if I was having some lighthearted banter with someone and said the word faggot I deserve to be banned for homophobia? That seems harsh...... now if I directly called someone a faggot in an aggressive manner, then yes of course I should be punished. Iv been called faggot on the server plenty of times, I was not offended nor did I feel the need to take it to an admin. Im a big boy and words on the internet don't hurt me. Iv seen no negative reports aimed towards admins, iv heard people crying over teamspeak though but whether or not they took it further is beyond me.

Agreed Abel, its not always the issues happening in a server that cause a decline in player numbers but more so the way things are handled by staff. People shouldn't be banned/warned for a bit of shit talking, but it comes down to interpretation at the end of the day. What one person says in jest one might take as a direct personal attack. Half the time when im calling people cunt its in the same manner as you Americans say "bruh" but not everyone will take it that way.

Decent guy to play with and a competent police officer. From what hes stated, he knows whats up when it comes to server administration and also being bi/multilingual can come in very handy with an international player base. Will give a +1, but also agree with what Winters is saying. And that should apply to the rest of the players applying for staff.

Its for the admins to determine whether or not they were cheating. If found guilty im sure they will be shamed and we can throw rotten tomatoes at them.

Just a quick one chaps, I suggest restricting staff positions for adults. If you want reasons as to why kids shouldn't be staff.... go play on any of the Altis life servers for A3, experience it firsthand for yourself. Iv just had a lovely morning of ear rape from pre-pubescent admins on Strayagaming I can still hear the high pitched ringing in my ears. The current staff have been great in the way they have handled issues, even the ones I have disagreed with. (You know who you are you bloody cunts <3). As it stands, with the current population of the community, I think there are more than enough staff at any given time to deal with issues or to provide help. Iv run servers for myself and others..... regardless of the game/mod, its not always fun and games as im sure you will agree. So big ups to the staff. Give yourselves a pat on the back and have yourselves a beer (if you are old enough LMAO)

+1 I think if someone has been repeatedly reported for hacking/cheating and especially by a large portion of the players online at the time, they need to be temporarily blocked/banned from joining the server, at least until they have been cleared of any accusations or while they are under staff investigation. A common problem is some people get so frustrated they cant locate or kill someone who's been shitting on them and instantly resort to hackusations. Some people just cant handle being fucked on by someone better than them.

Yes I had a dig at the staffing of other servers, and its has plenty of relevance. More to the point, the post was also feedback and a suggestion, posted into the said section of the forums. Whats your problem?

I can agree with some of these points you bring up. Iv had dealings with admins/mods who were absolutely great, and others not so much. Not every staff member is going to be your friend. Life goes on. The offensive words/language is a random one, I was told to stop shit talking the other night or I would be banned. As you say.... it was light banter between me and a passenger of my vehicle, a bit of piss taking but nothing mean or offensive, but it was interpreted as so by someone else. No big deal, iv been grilled before. Role-play is a tough one to deal with, as above, it comes down to interpretation... what one person might think is legit RP, might come across as just pure shit, and an excuse to steal or kill to someone else without actual reason. As for bans, let that fucking hammer rain down glorious punishment. From what I have seen, the cunts who have been banned have all deserved it. Either for griefing, hacking, rule breaking or being straight up rude to staff/players.

Leave the political bullshit for for political discussion boards imo. There are plenty out there, TLX doesn't need one.

Well originally I was replying to Zerix' regarding the lower ranked officer work. It come up as its relevant to a higher ranked whitelisted team that you are suggesting. Rookies obviously are not going to be allowed in this whitelisted team. As they "wont know the rules like the back of their hand".... among other things. Anyhow, I like the idea, as for the special access to vehicles and weapons, they would need to be pretty damn special considering SOBR and supporter gear is cheap enough and does the trick. Or limit the gear that regular cops can aces to make the white listed squad gear a bit more appealing?

I wouldn't go far as to say rookies should be stuck in an area, they would be free to do as they please within reason. But if they wanted to progress rank wise, they would need to perform assigned duties like everyone else, which would require them to maintain a presence in a certain area. Rotation of patrol routes/cp manning would aide in breaking monotony...

Sounds like a good idea, as with the other idea of rank etc, imo border/checkpoint and other rookie duties should be assigned to low ranking officers(situation dependent) while higher ranked players have the option to play as SF and engage indeps/gangs etc.

I think some sort of enforcement of speed limits for everyone in Rasman and other built up areas needs to be encouraged, speaking from experience.... a lot of the "VDM" I see/fall victim to is not directly due to the speed people travel but the desync that can occur when its congested and people are speeding. Iv tried to enforce speed laws but most cunts just laugh at you LOL.... As above, something like 4 man internal affairs unit would be pretty cool. Like the PMC, in my opinion they should have access to a few toys to allow them to operate accordingly.

I dont like the fps drop associated with a destroyed Rasman/shelling. I lose around 10-12fps. Yuck.
