I've been playing this game for too long to just quit it.

I am pretty much a sniper only but rarely snipe from more than 500 meters, I use an SVD (no zoom, PSO-1 scope (which I love), and not that great of range) and I still do fine, and not to brag a little better than most who just use anti-material rifles. By the way Anonymous, he plays Indep, not BLUFOR with the AS50.

Not sure if I am eligible for compensation but, all of my 12.5 million that I had on my Independent account disappeared last weekend. I was just wondering if I could be compensated for this due to it being a bug. If so I will be on tomorrow.

I can have some people tell you that it for sure happened. It happened twice in 3 days. The first time Jumpy comped me. You can ask Slimbone, Isaac, Jumpy, or pretty much any of the main Independent players.

Haven't saw a OPFOR sniper in probably 2 months.

To be honest I don’t know what people expect from us. We are Terrorists. Killing and causing chaos is what we do. BLUFOR can’t expect us to sit down south all the time, there’s rarely OPFOR on that are actually manning a checkpoint or actually somewhere killable. Obviously it’s easy for them to feel spawn camped, their spawn is literally in the exact place that is the most probable place to be attacked. They should not feel cornered, they are more than well equipped to deal with any sort of weapon we have.

Lol, as long as no one has a problem with it, and it’s not breaking any rules (which I’m sure it’s doing all those thing), then it could be a good strategy. I’m Only joking though, if you couldn’t tell, I would avoid doing it again until management is notified.

I’ve never seen one Independent that camps the diamond mine all day, let alone at all. The only people I’ve ever seen or heard of camping a particular point of traffic and/or interest, is OPFOR at southern resources. Also, the only person that I know who uses the BRDM ATGM is Slim, who really only uses it because BLUFOR rarely don’t have a armored vehicle out that needs to be taken care of, at least to my knowledge. I haven’t been on the Arma 2 server as much these past few days due to grinding in Arma 3, but I have never seen Independent’s place Igla Pods all around the map with AI.

I don’t think your first suggestion will ever work due to general BLUFOR incompetence. Your second suggestion could work, and I think it might be a interesting thing to add, though thirty minutes is a little much, and I doubt many people would follow it. I definitely agree with you on your last suggestion, not just because I only play independent and think BLUFOR go totally overboard when choosing how to deal with a situation, but also because it does destroy the buildings, and causes lots of destruction and chaos; as well as because of the other reasons you mentioned.

So, as the title says I think there should be some weapons added. In pretty much every faction the weapons are kind of lacking. I think maybe some new snipers should be added to Independent and OPFOR. Both are lacking in the sniper department, with a lot of what there already is being available in other factions. The KSVK could be a good addition to both factions with, if it becomes too OP, could be added to the donator weapons for either faction. That's pretty much it! Let me know what other weapons everybody thinks should be added.

I agree on the KSVK. Not just because of my love for Soviet weapons But because it'd make more sense since the AS50 is British.
