VVS Who are we A small introduction We are the VVS (Vojenno-vozdoesjnye sily Rossii - Military Air Forces of Russia). Our job is to support the ground forces of southern Takistan. We train our own people for war and for peacetime operations. To save lives in northern and southern takistan. and when necessary to deploy a swift and brutal retalliaton. Lore After the disintegration of the Soviet Union in 1991. The Soviet airforce was reformed and turned into the Russian Airforce. During the start of the Takistani war the VSS had a rough time deploying due to a lack of airbases. Most jets had to fly from bases in Russia that had not seen a plane take off since the collapse of the Soviet Union. The equipment were old planes from the Soviet era. Most of the pilots used were rookies who had never flown a combat sortie. Alot of lives and equipment were lost during this era. By the time of the capture of the loy manara airfield the VVS had matured. The Combat Doctrine had changed from mass bombings of zones filled with SPAA vehicles to precise strikes from a long range. Most of the current pilots have flown many missions and have been given good equipment. What do we do From protecting Takistani citizens from the terrorist threat to assisting the Takistani Liberation Army during wartime and peacetime. We also try to learn people how to fly helicopters and planes. The last 4 or 5 wars there was constantly someone using arty. The problem is that arty can spread..... into a base..... My suggestion is to not allow arty to shoot anywhere on the airfield. It would prevent alot of helproom issues during a war.

-1 So... Wolfslayer is making a faction, Killing incompetent baffoons with a ai gunner and teaches people how to do this... FUCKlNG REMOVE lT!!! I'm sorry but the server is to broken to function without ai gunners... i have tried plenty of times to use a attack helicopter without a ai gunner. it doesn't work. The player base on this server so to low at points to get a decent player gunner. Most of them are to retarded.... The thing with ai gunners is that opfor needs them during a war due to our only good jet requiring a ai gunner. (Su 27/34) and the su 25 is just worthless... Every fighting faction can buy ai so they are not just overpowerd to one faction. is just that alot of people do not know how to use them effectively. I have had a indie buy a igla pod and put a ai gunner in it to shoot me down. Do you hear me bitching about it? NO! People need to stop bitching about things that are killing them. Back when i flew hinds it was people complaining about me using a hind. After that i started using a brdm 2 with a AI gunner. This is when the whole remove ai protest started. People stop bitching and just learn to use the mechanics in the game. I have done it and so can you. Can people just spend about 10 to 15 minutes in the arma 2 singleplayer boot camp Use it That is my 2 cents on the issue. Remove ai will only result in opfor becomming unplayable.

I have played on alot of arma 2 tlr communities including: Battleguns (Doesn't exist anymore), HWG (Turned into soap), Soap Gaming (Merged with JG), Rise Gaming (Possibly moved to arma 3),JG (Shutdown due to inactive playerbase) and now tlx. I have been a staff member on JG and Rise. I am reliatively patient. I do not have a problem with following order and the rules. Why should you be a staff member? Due to all of the server i have played on i know alot of the in's and out's of tlr. I try to make a unique roleplaying experiance. (For instance trying to create the nation of Tajikistan in the north.). I live in the european timezone so i can do staff duty when there are not alot of staff on. When i was a staff member in jg i would come on at 1 am in the morning to attend the staff meetings. Even when it was new years eve. What qualifications or experience do you have to offer? (if any) I used to be teamspeak helper on Rise for one and a half years. On JG i was a staff member for about half a year untill i retired due to a problem between me and a senior admin.

During peace time operations and for training session for the MAFR it would be great to use a AN2 with dshkm's or other machine guns. Since the l39 is expensive and all the other planes are war time only (Exception of the pcela which is glorious). Plez add daddy
