Do you realize I use to own this server? I know exactly how it is and use to use it. Never liked it.

We use to have a MAJOR problem with civilians constantly stealing Blufor/Opfor vehicles and it got to be quite annoying hence why this rule was put into place. I will wait to make a decision and get more feedback from the community and see what their views are.

Be respectful when replying.. I have read what everyone said, I STILL don't see how it would make ANY faction UNPLAYABLE. They have been over powered since day 1, we want it to be player on player and not AI vs Player. Back in the day we functioned PERFECTLY without it. If i recall honestly, the main person who used them was @Roque when he would drop them in rasman...lol

I don't see how removing it will make any faction unplayable. Back in the ole TLX days they were rarely used on Opfor and nothing has changed since then. An official decision will come later today.

Correct yourself, you barely use them for shooting others. I understand you use them for transports but i personally don’t see it necessary for the improvement of the server. To each their own tho.

I personally want people to rely on themselves more than an AI. As of right now, there seem to be more problems than good. We shall see the future.

But you all have to remember, Blufor is a MILITARY force, not a police force even tho they do “police/enforce the laws.” I know their SUV says police only because when I owned this community it was a police force and they were required to have it. I do agree they need some sort of less than lethal but it shouldn’t be required. If they kill an unarmed criminal civilian, you report them as they shouldn’t be killed and should have a chance to pay their bounty. I’m not gonna make it a requirement. Now if we decide to do Arma 3, I may make it a requirement due to you being able to place it in your inventory. if a director wishes to make it a requirement, so be it. I will look at reimplementing the cop test until the whitelisting is implimented.

If we require Blufor to have tasers then we need to do the same with Opfor. If we do that then we might as well remove pistols from both shops as the taser will take up that slot.

Staff do have lives outside of the game. We are looking at the current staff applications to..well hire more staff.

This will be the final response from staff regarding your ban appeal. Your ban was justified and will not be lifted. Your ban will be lowered to 1 day. When a staff member requests you on teamspeak and you do not have it, it’s common sense to inform them and they will give you extra time to download it. Disconnecting immediately is not a smart thing to do and we take RDM very seriously here. If you have any questions or issues with your ban please report to a support room on TS3. Topic will be locked to prevent further responses.

Make sure your stats save before you log off and load before you start playing. It sends you a message that your stats have loaded and if they don’t you need to relog.
