Consider where you bought the rifle. Did you even have an appropriate firearms license?

The most recent occurrence was when I had a box of AKMs I bought from supporter shop. I had the licenses required to use them, which in that case was irrelevant because the cop immediately said something along the lines of "Sir, these are illegal weapons"

I had acquired them legally. Even if I didn't have supporter, I could of gotten them legally from Weapons Factory, or from Opfor.

If the source of the firearm determines the legality, that would make every weapon legal (apart from Blufor specific weaponry, and even then, Opfor could buy blufor weapons in bulk and then sell said weapons to civilians). That being said, if the same logic was applied to vehicles, the majority of opfor's equipment would be legal for civilians to use.

The point that I am trying to make with this post is that there needs to be some sort of legal code. It would define what is legal and what is not. It would allow for the regulation of weapons, vehicles, and certain activities.

How can you have a country without a law book? You cannot, obviously. For the sake of good RP there needs to be laws.

  2. This is more of a question that I have, though I think I already know the answer.

Where do I find the list that contains the laws of Takistan? Is there a resource that I or any other player could use to see what is and isn't legal in Takistan?

I've be harassed by police many times while playing civ merely because I have an illegal weapon. Said "illegal weapon" was an AKM. When I ask them to cite the law that states that the AKM is illegal, they have no answer. I suspect there isn't an answer.

I myself would love to know the laws of Takistan, and I'm sure most other people would like to know as well. It would add to RP, and it would clarify a lot.

Shouldn’t be up to staff to decided, command should decided, all admins should have access to is apply the tag, but not make the decision to blacklist unless its something like mass rdm ect.

    >You piss off the commander cause you say his plan is stupid

    >gets blacklisted

There are many many other scenarios where a person could get blacklisted by a commander. I'd rather have the staff blacklisting people thank you very much

  4. As of right now, command vehicles have no real purpose. They have no real use other than for troop transports (something which the non-command variant of the vehicle can do). They cost more than the non-command variants,  so it is not economic to buy one. Command vehicles have nothing to show for their price.

For them to be more useful they would either need a price decrease, or a secondary purpose. One such possibility for that could be as a mobile spawn point for opfor/blufor/indeps. It would make FOB's more of a thing.

If command vehicles had a purpose or were more economic, it would make things a bit more interesting.

Also, as there are 3 hinds, the 2 most powerful should be considered as war vehicles, and the "weakest" (yeah there are no weak MI-24s) should be like 12-14 mil.

Increasing the overall cost of the Mi-24s isn't a bad idea. It would make it more balanced regarding the Blufor vs Opfor military dynamic. Also the Mi-24s are pretty cheap considering how effective they are, especially compared to Blufors attack chopper offerings. Then again, most of Blufor's equipment is very expensive when compared to Opfor's equipment. Bradly is 11 mil while a BMP-3 is only 4 mil.

  6. Why not bribe Opfor to let you through? Instead of fighting/sneaking your way North, why not bribe/rp your way there. That of course depends on the Opfor members, but it's a possibility. Hell, getting a civ to fly you North is possible. There are other ways of getting north.

I agree with an economic change for Indeps. They are lacking in affordable firepower and do need a change. Even so, there are ways of getting north that do not require shooting down Hinds.

    Hindfor is really cheap too.
