He ran to support and said "gen rdmed me he shot down my helicopter" I tried to tell the staff that I told him to leave and he said that he didn't hear it and the staff AGREED WITH HIM AND SAID HE DIDNT HEAR IT, HOW THE HELL DO YOU KNOW IF HE HEARD IT OR NOT. 5 mins later the person who reported me, after flaming him in chat admitted to lying to staff and was punished and I was able to get my money back. This is ridiculous. I also was on a hill with 2 other indeps, total of 3 and they also had AS50's and someone reported me that I shot there truck while they were in rasman, I proceeded to explain to the staff it wasnt me, I told the staff there was 2 other indeps on the hill. I was cut off half way and told "I dont want to deal with this argueing" then I was told to comp the guy or I will be striked. This is also ridiculous. Now, lets move up the branch to the higher ups. Infact recently my account was glitched, and on OPFOR my account reset. My balance reset, my entire character reset as If i was joining for the first time. I messaged 3 higher staffs and They all REPLIED TO ME THE SAME THING "DO YOU HAVE PROOF? DO YOU HAVE PROOF THE AMOUNT OF BANK BALANCE YOU HAVE?" - I said No why the fuck would i take a picture of my bank balance, I dont expect my entire balance to be REMOVED. I played TLX for some time, They knew I was a supporter and when I joined they saw I had 200k in my bank account, in the LOGS IT EVEN SAYS "BANK ACCOUNT NOT FOUND, CREATING NEW ETC ETC" I said look in the logs, they checked, took less then .4 seconds and they said "I see nothing talk to the owner". After 4  hours of constant argueing I told the higher up I will flip my fucking ass If I lose my 130m on indep, I joined indep and GUESS WHAT, I HAD 130M IN MY ACCOUNT BUT ON OPFOR I LOST MY 60M" They didn't use any commen sense, an well known player, that used to play opfor, and is VIP SUPPORTER has 200k in opfor balance and he ALWAYS RUNS AROUND WITH JAVS AND AS50 THERMALS. I was like, i had 130m in indep I said if i lost it id flip i didnt do you believe me now? I was then comped 60m by a higher up on opfor. BEFORE I WAS COMPED AND DURING THE ARGUMENT i was told 'Since you have no proof ill comp you 1m" - 1 MILLION FOR MY LOSS OF MY ENTIRE BALANCE, THEY DIDNT EVEN TRY TO FIGURE OUT WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED- When i say 'MY ACCOUNT JUST RESET AND MY BALANCE IS GONE" - THEY SHOULD ASK "WHAT HAPPENED, EXPLAIN WHAT YOU DID" - THE TLX SERVER ADMIN WAS WATCHING ME AND ITS IN THE LOGS I WAS SCREAMING IN CHAT "MY CHARACTER IS GLITCHED HELP I WAS RANDOMLY TPED WHEN I SPAWNED IN" THEY EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE IT IN THE FUCKIGN TEAMSPEAK" - What is this dude, im done typing man, this pisses me off. I aint even bothered to finish writing or even explain every single situation. This entire forum will be wasted, read and wasted, nothing will be taken from it. Nothing will change, nothing will happen it will stay the same and it will always be the same unless someone puts everyone in there place and train them on how to moderator issues to the full extent not COME UP WITH A SOLUTION IN 30 SECONDS - So everyone playing tlx and your account gets reset and you complain, they will ask you "do you have proof" thats it, they wont check logs they wont do anything, they dont care. I was put aside multiple times over and over again in this situation. I HAVE SO MUCH PROOF OF ABUSE, HYPOCRITICAL SITUATIONS, BAD STAFFING, ETC. WHY WOULD I POST IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN IF NO ONE CARES, AND NOTHING HAPPENS.

- Look at both sides of the stories, try to be on both sides, first agree with one then agree with the other then rejoin and look at both

- Become educated in staffing experience, high play time but 0 experience in being a staff or moderator.

- Support room is always one sided, 5 staff give me 1000 questions and they dont talk about the other guy

- Asking for an admin results in a strike in "Wasting staff time"

- Disagreeing with a moderator results in the strike of "Disrespecting" 

- Staff can strike whenever they want, for whatever reason they want, I've made complaints about the faulty use of strikes and the abusive powers staff hold and they still are able to bs there way through everything. Since all the staff are friends its easy for them to bend stories to the higher ups, higher ups dont care and think its a waste of time. No effort is shown to deal with current staff issues. Everything has to be done as soon as possible. All the TLX higher ups have little patience with any situation and conclude it very quickly without bothering to look deeply into the issue.

- Staff have made friends with the servers, staff are too close with certain people, they let people off the hook for a lot of things and then punish other people. As if I had a friend that was a police officer and I stole a candy bar and he told me to put it back and leave, and in a second scenario a police officer I dont know would have arrested me for stealing a candy bar. (Very hypocritical) 

- Staff rush the support room, never take time to actually listen. Everything seems to be in the mindset realm of "I want to get this done and over this as soon as possible" 

- Staff complaints result in nothing, there useless, I've made complaints nothing happens, Staff have bended the rules over and over again.textbook like workers in the staff team and revolve around the book rather then the content and situation. In he said she said situations its based solemnly on reputation. This is not acceptable. Just 

I don't mean to hop in where its unwarranted but I cannot find any other spots for me to write this so here goes. Gen., as a former staff member I do have to agree with you there is biased in the support rooms, I tried to be fair as much as I could with you and others (namely Shark) but when you came in every 5 minutes because there was a slight bending of the rules and then you leave in the middle of a staff member leaving its very annoying and in turn we hate it so we try to get you out as fast as possible because its usually for a small issue. Now I will admit I did the same after awhile with cases involving you or otherwise, now as I have not been on lately I'm not sure how it is so I can't speak to that and I can personally confirm staff complaints do usually come of something IF it is warranted and not a tirade on the staff team like this essay. On to the part of the staff making friends and letting them off the hook, I don't see why a human being cannot become friends with someone on a video game? Ive met many great people on here and talk with some daily but even before someone like Jake was staff, I was still a friend but treated him like everyone else should've been If not harsher because most staff have a image to keep and Gio if he doesn't like something he makes it very well known (like this post when it probably gets deleted). Overall as a former staff member I find your antics extremely annoying, and old it is stupid to complain about every issue and no one will take you seriously and you will get those staff members that want it over with ASAP. When you are brought into a help room you are extremely rude to us so you get the same treatment back and im not sure what you expect. You just seem spoiled and use to getting everything you want by yelling or being a overall ass. Thanks in advance for the read.

  I'm 18 and I've been a Member on TLX since January, I'm a friendly easy to talk to guy, I'm Mature and Follow the rules, I used to be staff here about a month ago, and I resigned because I was graduating High School and had other life issue come up but now everything has settled down and I'm eager to move states to attend college in late August, I'm from Northeastern America and will soon be moving to Vermont for said college, and can/will be on most of the time while the main playerbase is on, I know the ins and out of the Staff team and the operation of the server, and I have played over 250 hours on the server. I also know minor French and am eager to come back, and to help new players get settled in, and teach them the ins and outs of TLX. Plus of course keep the current player base in-line witht he rules set forth.
• Why should you be a staff member?
  While I have not been as much as previously I am planning on making a return to TLX to play on the server most days for at least a few hours each day and I wish to help out with new staff members and general running of the server. I as most of you know was previously staff but I decided at the end of May due to graduation and other priorities I was unable to devote the time needed to the server. Although now I believe normal life has returned and I will be able to come on most if not everyday of the week for at least a few hours at a time if not I will always be able to have battlemetrics and TeamSpeak with me wherever I go. Plus I already know the ins and outs of the staff team and operation of the server so there's little to no retraining required in my opinion so I would be able to join and not cause any hassle to the current staff team in trying to train me over a period of weeks per usual candidates
• What qualifications or experience do you have to offer? (if any)
  I used to assist in running an Arma 3 Wasteland server before I came back to Arma 2 as Arma 3 is not my thing, and I currently help manage a Teamspeak 3 server. I as stated above used to be a Moderator here at TLX about a Month ago, So I know how things work, and how to use Rcon, the staff handbook etc. I also have over 250 hours on the server and I have over 1680 hours on Arma 2 itself.

I want to begin by saying I am serious this time haha, and I do not plan to go out in a blaze of glory like the few from a month ago.  I will be resigning effective Friday the 11th, Not because I "think the server is dying" or "there's no updates" I honestly think its fun to play the server anyway without them. I have had a great few months getting to know the entire staff team and many of the players on the server. Granted some parts I hated but for the most part it was usually a great time. I will be resigning because of a couple reasons, one of which is a good friend of mine needs assistance getting back onto his feet after a long couple of weeks. I will be graduating in June and be gone for a majority of the summer on vacation and what not then in August I will be moving to another state further South ( I will not be going into any more detail than this as that is sketchy af). Maybe once life settles down I will be able to rejoin the community but as of current I do not have the time or the energy to deal with staffing this game when it is usually just me past 8 or 9 EST and trying to deal with homework, and life in general. It has just become impossible to juggle everything, although I will be on from time to time known probably as [I.T.O] King which was the past name I used before becoming a staff member. I want to thank everyone for the good times (and the bad) and especially thank the entire staff team for helping through the past couple weeks (Jake in particular). So anyway that's about it.

staan, I honestly had no knowledge that teams were being stacked, war was asked multiple times by Opfor from start to finish we did not mean to metagame if you feel it was. I just had the chance to msg Comrade personally after he got on ts I then asked both Unknown and Comrade if war was ok and I explained the situation better than some people apparently because it was then approved. We had given time to prepare and no one crossed the border till the war so Blufor had ample time to cap their point but instead 10 minutes later Kane walked in and took it. Granted the Embassy was a bit misguided and it was dealt with and talked about between staff. I personally do not feel it was meta gaming or anything of the sort it was just the timing of when I was able to ask them personally for permission for war. I wanted it the moment Blufor started to shoot but Comrade had said no so I didn't question it but it kept happening, and Comrade came on so yea. This is my end as I assume this is referring to myself and a couple others on Opfor at the time.

I and Jake was the moderator and Junior moderator you spoke to. You never spoke to anyone else. I am the "admin" you are referring too and I personally was speaking on discord to the Community Manager-Unknown while speaking with you in TeamSpeak. and you left multiple times during our conversations it wasn't just once. Now as for the Arma 3 community that was all Unknown I had nothing to do with that and no knowledge about it up until you were perm banned, when Unknown explained to me why your ban was going form 14 days to Permanent.

I don't want to go to far into specifics as Giovanni pretty much covered it but Jake and I gave you numerous chances at least 10 separate times asking if you would like to calm down and stay on the server. I gave plenty of chances and tried to give you the benefit of the doubt but it ended up that you denied each time and continuously said "Ban me". Each time I asked are you sure and why don't we talk about it, but eventually I gave up and had to ban for the 14 days for the numerous issues then later on it was upped to a perm by Unknown for posting links to another community on Arma 3. All throughout the conversation I was speaking to Unknown about what I should do and we determined it was in the best intrest for the ban.

+1 I completely agree with a permanent embassy for both factions but I feel it should be run by the higher ups in each faction (when whitelisting is introduced). 

As a quick comment, I just wanted to add this moment honestly made my day.

I agree, but I truly believe it should depend on the matureness of a individual which from what I remember is why standards went up. So in turn I totally believe in Jake to do a good job, and he is mature enough for the position.

Going off that +1 just because Jake is a solid guy and play with him almost everyday and from what I have seen does not cause problems and is more than willing to help with staff activities.
